1. There aren’t any elite starters. 2. That’s why they got Burnes in the offseason. 3. They have the pitching, it’s just hurt. Bradish was 2nd in Cy Young last year. Rodriguez was having a great acelike year. Wells was the best pitcher in the entire league in the first half 2 years ago. Means has a no hitter on his resume. All of them are out for the season except maybe possibly hopefully Rodriguez.

Even though we lost that was such a great game, even just the highlights were awesome! Good to see Holliday looking a lot more comfortable at the plate. Rare off night for Burnes but that's just the thing, it's rare. Every good pitcher has an off night. Overall I think this game was a good sign for things to come for the O's come October 🧡🖤

IF we had a more dependable bullpen Burnes would have been pulled before giving up 8 runs. The guy is human so he gets a pass on a rare bad outing. I think it’s time to admit Kimbrel is not dependable to use in a close game. Let him pitch when we’re winning or losing by 5 runs minimum. Given the overall state of our pitching It’s going to be very challenging to make a deep run in the playoffs. I Love my Os but it’s obvious this team has some issues. GO O’S!!!!
