Are forensic computing professionals part of the cyber security field or they are in other IT category?
@bertmeza86733 жыл бұрын
I think they consider themselves a “science” but I’m not 100% where they lie in the IT world but most videos I see on the subject matter say it is a science as it pertains to the forensics portion and it having a scientific method involved. Honestly as I have had courses in it it def seems to fit for sure as a science. I could be wrong though

If you look at the NICE cyberframework by CISA it is classified under the "investigate" type of jobs.

So attacks on company computers are ACTUALLY sometimes ethical hackers hired to do just that? They are not always "bad people"?

Would you be able to explain what's the different between master of information technology vs master of Information System I am looking at a degree program at University of Colorado which offers specialty in cyber security. But before I peruse such a program I would like to if master of information system is considered a technical field and can I still pursue career in software development (apps), cloud computing, data science/engineering and etc?
@nicoleenesse3 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, it will vary by program. If you want to go those routes you don't even need a degree, but it is useful. I would focus on the niche you want to do and go all in.

Thank you, I didn’t even know there was a purple team! It’s def not in books yet, I wonder where the Devops would fall into? I have heard it’s an evolving position in the cyberworld. Great content!
@nicoleenesse3 жыл бұрын
yeah Purple team is an evolving position and is pretty knew. I'm sure there will be more jobs created for it kind of like what happened with the Devops postions

So RED TEAM employees are hired from OUTSIDE organizations? Why do that do that in companies? Ok silly question, what outside employers do that where you are not on the payroll of the actual company you are helping?? This seems all weird as an outsider.
