Thanks Joe Biden! LMAO!!! Gotta share, we have watched you for years, and even met you at your meetup last winter in AZ. A few days ago, John had a medical emergency and ended up to be too sick to drive on travel day. As I disconnected (we were at an rv park), hooked up our tow vehicle, and drove four hours where he could recuperate (through wind and rain), I kept thinking "Carolyn does this, I can too." . You really helped me keep calm during the drive, and now I have the confidence to share driving with John. Thanks for all your videos. You will never know how many you inspire. Hugs from Kate (Karolyn)

I enjoy watching you more and more Carolyn. You have such a wonderful personality, you leave no stone unturned when describing everything from the local customs, and points of interest to what to be cautious of and what not to miss!! However your photography is fantastic! The stars in the sky at the beach and the desert where there is no light at night is soooo moving to see, and the many fabulous photos of Sadie in the many different venues is great to see also. Loved looking at the countless sea shells you picked up and gave us close ups of how beautiful they are was so interesting. Since I’ll never be able to go to these wonderful places I’m so grateful to you for bringing us along😻💕You are indeed a BLESSING TO THE PLANET Carolyn!👍🏻

I have been watching your videos for a few years now and really enjoy them. I have watched as you slowed down from a hectic working life to a much slower and more relaxed lifestyle. You look great, healthy and happy! You have inspired me to try to start a much simpler life and I am looking to move to a small piece of land and live as off-grid as I can at my age (I recently turned 63). I know that It is so important to stay active to live a longer and healthier life and being off grid will help me stay active and help me feel more peaceful. My parents both retired and basically just sat inside and I am sure that played a huge part in their failing health and their passing. Thank you for all the time and energy you put into sharing your journey! It is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, bio-luminescence is very kool. My first experience with it was back in 1974 in Florida Keys, when I took 8-10 kids (campers) out night fishing on 1 16ft SeaCraft V-hull. I was only 16YO then, and about every 1-2 weeks we saw this phenomena.

Wow! I just saw how I outlived one of my lives. When I was about 19 I lived in Harlingen, Texas near South Padre Island. This guy and I drive to SPI at night. As was normal for kids back then. We swam in the phosphorescent water. It was beautiful. Never even heard about any problem with it. Never had any issues. Anyway I am really enjoying your trip and the gorgeous Sea of Cortez. I’ve always wanted to see the whales. Safe travels🌞🦋💖

The thickness of the wire strands is what is measured. If her insulation is thinner but the stands are the same, she shouldn't have any fire issues from pulling too much current through smaller wire strands.

They pump the gas for them wow, Great way to help the economy in Mexico, keep people employed, as long as they can right? My Dad's gas station used to do that back in the 1970"s Dad was so fed up with Chevron, was forced to sell the business after his partner got brain tumors. Glad you found a fun bunch to be with and can use walkie talkies! You are ahead of the games by having your portable Bluetti, up here in Canada in remote areas wind can blow out power for days. The views are absolutely gorgeous for you Carolyn! Bravo for you! Sadie looks at you like what Ma, they love me! I've seen that before blue bio Essent ocean water, gorgeous huh?

Hey Carolyn ... it looks like you're living the life in Baja! Have you considered making some kimchi? It's really easy and could very comfortably be made in an RV ... you just need a large glass container and some spices (and, of course, cabbage, carrots, onions, etc. ... whatever you like in your kimchi) ... the cost of kimchi in stores is outrageous considering what goes into it. And, when you make it yourself, you can control the ingredients and spiciness to your taste. Lots of recipes online ... I generally use red cabbage for mine.
@SherryAnnOfTheWest7 ай бұрын
BTW ... apparently seashells are outrageously expensive in stores in the USA (ppl use them for fish tanks) and you could work a little side hustle bringing some back and selling them. TAking advantage of Mother Nature a bit though .... As for the Vegan Police ... nothing worse than a reformed sinner!!! Thank goodness they have it all figured out for you .... how would you be able to conduct yourself otherwise!!!! Hahahahahahahha....

yes - you have to get out and make sure they start the gas pump at zero but you must ALSO - stand and watch them fill it up to the end because they will often ADD something after the pump turns off - while you're not looking! and repeat the amount that the pump stops - or point to it - or wwrite it down, if you must turn away.

My family has a house in Puertecitos that we built in the mid 1960's... back when the road was just sand from San Felipe on and it was a lengthy difficult trip... but always exciting and fun. Beyond Puertecitos was "no man's land" and the "road" south was nothing more than a very rough crude trail.... Puertecitos was a fun and peaceful place then in the 60's and 70's. My family were good friends with Rafael Orozco, who founded the town. Our house had the first flush toilet in the town lol. I have swam with miniature black dolphins there at the boat dock.... I love Baja and that town. Walking across the bay when the tide is fully out is a surreal experience. Baja is easy now with the "paved" highway and many conveniences in San Felipe. @ 12:03 I got a brief look over at our house on the peninsula by the hot spring as you drove by. Thanks!
