Well done! Beautiful transformation! Never listen to anyone's opinion on what you should or shouldn't do, follow your heart, and it always works out for the best. It's only natural to keep experimenting with our looks! I'm turning 43 and still experimenting.

I was surprised you got the colour you did as the end result, it looks really nice!! You’re deffo braver than I am, I wouldn’t attempt to bleach my hair myself! I’m glad you included the bits that went wrong so it will help others not to make the same mistake! Xxx

I’ve has the same thing happen to me dying my hair before and it burns and itches so bad. So surprised with the after really didn’t think you would be able to get the Orange tones it’s that quickly. Absolutely love the blonde hair but you honestly suit any colour 🤍✨
Hi chick, this happens because your scalp gets irritated when you wash it, so to then put bleach right on top of it will cause it to burn! Always leave it 24 hours and never put anything higher than 20 vol on your roots❤
@jameswilson9011 Жыл бұрын
you might want to look into developer lifting which is just hydrogen peroxide not bleach (which also has hydrogen peroxide). the underlying pigment for brunette hair in the level system is across from the target level, and i think red hair has slightly less brass (orange red) than brunettes since its a higher starting level, but still a little bit, so green would turn that into yellow / gold I believe

Mines the same and all I use now is garnier nutrisse baby blonde to colour and use matrix purple shampoo and conditioner every other wash. It’s much less damaging for your hair, you will see how great it looks and feels, hopefully this helps xxx looks gorgeous btw!!!!!

I have been following you when you used Special Blonde 89 by Koleston. I seen your hair lighter too & now this red. I personally think every color looks good on you but the best is the Light blonde by far. I believe that you look great with light blonde or platinum blonde. Enjoy your videos very much. I used the Koleston special blonde & is great. Thanks for explaining everything.

Thanks for this video!! I dyed my hair similar to yours but with a darker copper root and ombre to lighter blonde/copper. I may use this video as a reference later when I try to get back to my medium/light blonde

You did so good and the blonde looks great on you, but girl you would look soooooo good with dark brown hair or light brown hair because you have blue eyes and paler skin so it would really compliment you. You should try it sometime!💜💜

I have dark brown (thick) when I’ve done my hair I section my hair top and bottom. I start the bleach from the bottom starting the middle of the hair. I don’t touch my rooots then I do the tips. Then the to I divided by three I do each side then the top the last… when I’m done top I do the tips once I’m done tips I do the roots. I try to the roots real fast , by this time most of my hair is evenly bleached. If you get hot roots and your adding any dark color start with the roots with a 10 volume crème developer. Then you do rest of the hair… If you want to go dark hair is best if your hair is recently washed. If you want to bleach your hair it’s best that you haven’t wash it for at least 3 days and have your natural oils. I usually do my bleach one day and then the following do my toner or color… use lots of oils or treatments.. ❤❤❤ Hope it helps someone..❤❤

We use wella 12/81 special blonde on Jen's natural hair with40 vol developer ratio 2 parts developer to 1 part colour.leave it for one hour with cling film wrapped around it,this keeps heat in and prevents the mixture drying out.rinse with water and then condition.tone if desired shade is not achieved.try wella t14 or t18.or tone with the colour touch we used here

That isn’t ashy, that is platinum or basically white. Ashy hair is the type that only natural generally have and look very light in some lights, medium in others and dark in yet other lightings. It’s almost transparent and almost everybody confuses what ashy hair actually is! That said, your hair looks so pretty on you! I absolutely love the result. ❤

I want to bleach it do you think it’s going to work? I’m not going for an icy blond, just a regular blond like my natural hair colour.

Don't bleach for a while.we made a mistake on Jen's hair doing that and we were lucky not to lose more of it.wash it lots of times.use 20 vol developer with a good quality bleach.then use a toner any will do.we used colour touch but u can use wella t14 to remove orange tones of t18 for yellow removal

Ahhh I am SO thankful for this video… I fried my hair a few months ago, and have been considering using the garnier dark blonde but I’ve seen a few videos that said it was quite reddish which I didn’t want so I watched your video on going from light to dark blonde then the videos you posted the following months after, and I absolutely think I’d just miss my blonde but I need to correct damage and have NEVER understood the numbers on olaplex… is that just me? I don’t get it, so having had a burnt scalp and awful scraggly hair for 6 months I’m finally ready to fix it and I’m just going to use the olaplex products you used in this… thank you!!!! Fingers crossed my hair looks as nice as yours xxx
