Yes, in RV every member records ad-libs, harmonies and layers of the layers of the layers of vocals...you have to react to some of those recordings behind. It's amazing how these girls are so talented and professional artists.

acctually the music video and the song have connection. in the song they say their star are lonely, and in the mv they do a ritual to make another star. you can see it in the trailer too

I think the connection between MV and lyrics is that this comeback is part of the 10th anniversary celebration. So, yes the MV is inspired by the movie but just inspired...there are so more about the Swidish celebration of that summer time that you can use to link that...also, for me...they are talk about the journey of this decade with us, their fans...it was a cosmic love and yes, WE are part of their cult LOL...for understand that, you have to watch their whole discography LOL😅

Thanks for reacting ! For the meaning of the lyrics, i think it's about a love between two astral beings (could be a star, like the sun, and a planet), the planet wanted to find another star because the first one got cold, she found it and fell in love but the star said that she'd be gone tomorrow if the night comes. That's why in the MV, the girls kinda represent the planet who doesn't want to let the star go, so they are doing a ritual to keep the daylight longer. It makes sense that it is based on Midsommar, because this day is the longest day in the year, and in north europe, where Midsommar is celebrated, the night almost never fall, the sun is still up past midnight. So if the night never comes, the star never leaves. I think it's even more clear in the bridge when wendy says "i just can't say goodnight" and the victim of their ritual falls from the ceiling and becomes a mini sun, they became a light to keep the night away. At least, thats what i understood from it ! Anyway, good video, you're very entertaining.
