I did not expect cosmic to sound like this but I was surprised in a good way!! It’s incredibly catchy and the production is top tier. Like you said, it feels grand, wholesome, and unsettling, that it reels you in. Love the whole ABBA sound the most. I feel like RV has literally dipped their toes in every music category and even up to their 10th year, they’re still doing something new

its like the weirdest fucking MV ive seen in awhile but the song itself is also extremely weird. It's gorgeous yet...creepy and murderous? The bass and production values are just incredibly weird too. Like just revisit the mix and the sound of the bass line in particular. It's such a sinister bass. Very hungry. Clearly an intentional design choice.

- I am not worried about the career of Red Velvet SM as many very large agencies do not all do well. but he is not in the habit of disbanding their groups even if they lose popularity BOA, SNSD, EXO, SHINee or Even TVXQ are still in activity after a very long career. Apart from F(X) no SM group has officially disbanded. I think that as long as the girls want to work together the group will continue to make comebacks. but of course much less often than before. Red Velvet is indeed starting a new chapter in their careers but their MV's are still very artistic.

Since returning from Wendy's injury, our girls have averaged a comeback every 7 ot 8 months, which is VERY impressive for a group into their 10th year. SNSD was LONG an inactive group by this point.

@@riffgroove you see what I mean after keyrs 7 years most groups make a lot fewer comebacks than before which is normal because most of the time the members try different things, from going solo, to making films or drama, to have their own TV show or their channel on the internet is very common there is no reason why it should be different for Red Velvet. at least they are guaranteed to stay in a group as long as they wish.

The song is so incredible and the mv is so beautiful. I can't even really express how great I think this comeback is. They've had a number of MVs with a string that is cut, Russian Roulette, Psycho, Wildside, idk if there are more that I'm not thinking of, but yes! I want to say more about the Midsommar commentary, but yeah no that's their May Queen you can see her in the crown at the end going around the pole so idk

I never watched Midsomer but it reminded me a bit of The Wicker Man (the Christopher Lee version, not Nicolas Cage). Also, on the subject of their eyes, that's how I learned who is who when I got into RV. Seulgi was "the one with the sexy eyes".

I am gonna be Honest... I am actually kinda getting a bit bored of Red Velvet.. The last comeback that I really liked and enjoyed from them was "Feel my Rhythmn" I just wish that they would do something "new" and a bit more exciting, i guess? I didn't really find queendom and birthday memorable tbh but i still listen to those albums tho. Cosmic has a similar key vibe with those two but i genuinely enjoy this much better. Love the creepy mv even tho the song is fun and high. So yeah. I somewhat agree with you
