That chorus melody is just everything to me. If i were to describe what you were talking about after the first watch it's 'hauntingly beautiful' where it's almost so pretty it's unsettling. It's that 'siren' vibe where the melody is so beautful but they're going to drown you in the ocean lol.

When I listened to cosmic I felt the same feeling than when i listened to fmr, like it's a dreamy or classy song but it makes me want to cry..like it makes me emotional idk why but I love it

This song is make me overwhelm idk but the last choruses, their interactions, their vocals all tgtr , the beat of the song is giving me YOU BETTER KNOW kind of feelings that to the point it touches my heart that my eyes got a little water formed on it.

The most "Red Velvet" sounding Red Velvet song ever, they have never sounded so mature and the video is the most "Red Velvet" video they've ever released... I've loved all their comebacks but I think this is their best, most on topic one ever, the song is absolute pop perfection and the video has that joyful yet creepy theme that only they can pull off

Agreed! A nearly 4 minute song is such a 2024 blessing 🙌! Red Velvet is one of those groups that delivers their "beautifully unsettling" signature with such grace, elegance, and heavenly vocals. Love the Midsommer theme cause that movie was wild. I've watched some creepy stuff in my time, but that movie was up there in the wild and creepy categories. For me, it it definitely makes sense why RV is using this movie as a point of reference. The movie is "beautifully unsettling" just like they are.

Like... are we hearing the synths and harmonies on that pre-chorus?? I swear NOBODY does pre-choruses like Red Velvet, sure I love the rest of the song it's actually one of my favorite RV title tracks, but that pre-chorus just gives me GOOSEBUMPS, these girls never fail to amaze me.

This is just so ethereal. Red Velvet are already legends and they just leveled up even higher somehow. For me this is instant song of the year, and RV’s best song. It makes me proud to be a Kpop fan when we get a song like this.

In my opinion, Red Velvet is the best to ever Kpop. Best Discography, best collective vocals, and one of the most charming group personalities. They should be much more popular globally. I understand the popularity of Blackpink. I love them too. They brought me into Kpop and BP absolutely deserves what they have. But Red Velvet just hits different. Just my opinion, but Red Velvet deserves the world.

This song sounds like Psycho + Feel My Rhythm but more “red” and I absolutely love the song. Red Velvet comebacks never sneak up on me ahaha. I heard in the report of their planned quarter comebacks that Red Velvet would be coming and have been busy hyping myself up for a while. The Midsommar rumours have been around since between the cosmic sailor teasers.

The song is incredible and I'm fully obsessed! Like you said, it's almost hypnotic in a way and I love that it's a longer song too, it just feels perfect! The "Solar System" part of the chorus has definitely been stuck in my head since I heard it, it's so catchy. Also, that Wendy part in the bridge is absolutely breathtaking and gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it! Needless to say, the song is easily a favorite of the year so far for me, I'm blown away by it.

This really does scream Red Velvet all over the place, I totally agree with this very unsettling feeling throughout their discography and mostly their more recent songs (as you stated, Chill Kill is a great example). Oh and I know it's really not related to anything but 10:09 is SO relatable and I felt you all the way here.
