You're coming to Hong Kong? YES! Eat all the street food; especially eggettes, they are sooo freaking good. Stinky tofu (they smell horrible though), egg tarts (the ones from tai cheong bakery are the best in hong kong) and 車仔麵 (cart noodles) and cha chaan teng, which is really traditional in hong kong but they're slowly disappearing :( definitely eat a pineapple bun while you're there :D that's a lot of food haha

I would've personally brought you to all the places but I'm now in UK for uni... :( You should try -Egg Tarts (Chris Patten's favs) -Eggettes/Egg Waffles -Fishballs -Various Dim Sum -Milk Tea I would recommend going to Cheung Chau Island and eat your way around the main street! If you don't fancy going all the way to an island, go to Mongkok and eat all the street food! Also drop by a Hong Kong tea restaurant (Cha Chan Teng)!!

When you visit Hong Kong, you should definitely try Cha Siu Bao! They're buns stuffed with barbecue pork and they are the best thing ever! Pineapple buns (pronounced bor lor bao) and egg-shaped waffles are also a must! Wash it down with a cup of Hong Kong style milk tea :) For seafood, definitely try deep-fried mantis shrimp (careful of the spikes!) and steamed mitten crab (the roe is the best part), which are a delicacy in season during October and November. I think this link gives a really good idea of what to eat in Hong Kong: www.buzzfeed.com/regajha/reasons-every-food-lover-should-go-to-hong-kong-immediate#1wckw3n Make sure to visit Lan Kwai Fong at night! There's some really nice restaurants and bars there (I think Gordon Ramsey just opened a restaurant in LKF)

I lived in Hong Kong for 17 years, you have to try typhoon shelter crab/mantis prawn, this dish is great if you love garlic because you have to find your crab/mantis prawns through the garlic. But if you don't get a chance to do that then I highly recommend deep fried pigeon, its the best bird in the world!

I totally agree on the curry fish balls! Also hit up a local bakery and try out some flaky hot pasteries.

Hong kong is the best place for food! Apart from all the local dishes like fish balls sui mai egg waffles and egg tarts, there are great restaurants too! My favorite is a place called cicada, I used to go there all the time when I lived there. Its a fusion of so many cuisines and has great tapas! You guys should definitely check it out !

I am a hongkonger and you guy definetly should go to try 菠蘿包(it is so-called pineapple bun in english i think), 砵仔糕i think you may rarely seen in your country, that is a great red bean pudding. Most of the street food are actually the best cuisine in hong kong, make sure you dont miss them while you are walking down the street. Hope you can enjoy a nice trip in HK! :D

wonton noodle soup, char siu, roast pork with the crispy skin, and roast duck! for dim sum, taro crescents are amazing! it's like a purple mashed 'potato' and ground meat mixture with a crispy fried outer layer. also, the pineapple buns with the custard filling are my favorite dessert at dim sum. there's no pineapple, but the topping reminds people of the look of pineapple. try mango pudding and all the other weird ice creams (lychee, ube, taro, black sesame, etc).

When Ben said repeat 12 more times, I for some reason thought he meant on the same brownie - and I went BOOYEAH YOU GO BEN. Then i saw the results, and I understood reality. P.S. It's my birthday today!!
