There was a sound that went viral on TT that used Psycho, but it was like someone singing the opening badly and then laughing. Soooo many people were using that sound without even knowing it's from kpop. A bit of the choreo in Russian Roulette was another challenge that went viral but most didn't know where it originated.

Red Velvet are a group known for their versatility and AMAZING b-sides. They have their “Red” side which is more “quirky”, fun, cute and pop & their “Velvet” side which is more mature, sexy, R&B. They have one of the best vocal lines in Kpop! Wendy is the BEST female vocalist of 3rd generation. The fact is that internationally Red Velvet not as popular as 2 other girl groups from TOP3 (Blackpink, Twice, Red Velvet) because their music is sometimes hard to catch up and SM tends to change concepts every comeback. They do a lot of concept like I can't even explain how versatile they are. You might find some of it weird, creepy, aesthetic, girlcrush, cute or whatever it is, they're not afraid of trying something new which sets them apart from other groups. Believe it or not, Red Velvet does have a "style" that is unmistakably them, but it's very eclectic and all-over-the-place. Which is a lot of the fun of being a stan of this group, you never know what they'll do next. If you're not a fan after watching Bad Boy, Feel My Rhythm, and Dumb Dumb I don't know what else to tell you.

You picked a really good random variety of Red Velvet songs to react to! :D It's true, they do not repeat concepts and they do alllllll kinds of sounds. As you continue to listen more, I'm sure that if you have watched additional contents from other idols there's a strong chance you've heard many of their songs in the background or them being asked to do dance covers, etc. I highly recommend going back to the beginning just to see where they have come from, they have a couple of MV's without Yeri (who was too young to debut until they did Ice Cream Cake) - so you can see Be Natural and Happiness with just the older 4 members, and then Ice Cream Cake and Automatic with OT5. From there I would recommend checking out other title tracks, but one definitely not to miss is Red Flavor because that is THE iconic Red Velvet are the queens of summer title track. Bad Boy is an iconic favorite of many while my personal favorites from less recent times that I haven't mentioned yet might be RBB and Dumb Dumb. This year they gave 3 extremely different and unique title tracks with Feel My Rhythm (orchestral sampling of Bach Air on the G String), Wildside (Japanese title track with some girlcrush vibes), and Birthday (which you saw and also samples in a more subtle way Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue). No one is doing it like Red Velvet. The thing is, Red Velvet's major strength is that their albums are solid and high quality all the way through - the bsides continue to offer killer vocals and production as well as a variety of sounds. I think my top 3 at this moment are RBB, The Perfect Red Velvet, and the latest mini - Birthday - but ReVeluv are spoiled for options and often change their top picks of favorite songs and albums because they are really just all that good, tbh.

Red Velvet "A Mess" by bubbleflexe is a classic humorous compilation series that a lot of fans and reactors like to watch, consider it a rite of passage many Reveluvs sit through lol. I'd like to say one thing though, which is that you don't have to watch the series in order. The quality of editing has very much changed as the series progressed, as well as the recency of the content it covers, so don't feel obligated to watch them from start to finish, but in any order you'd like - be it from the most recent etc.. Anyways, I loved the spread of concepts and sounds these three songs brought. You made some great choices to get a good general impression of the breadth of their discography with them :) I'd like to say one more thing, which is a common misconception even a lot of the fans have: That the Red side is "cute" while the Velvet is "mature". Concepts being Bright or Dark really shouldn't have an impact on the maturity of its contents, just something to keep in mind. Moving on, I loved the reaction! Like checking out the Kprofile, while you were also being concise and not dragging things out, and still having a lot of fun and interesting things to say! Thanks for the video! I'm a fan ❤️

just as the name states Red velvet has dual concept red is there cute and bubbely concept and velvet is there mature r&b and smooth songs and some times can be mixed for eg having weird and dark mv with cute lyrics etc the prime example is pyscho was a velvet song and birthday is a red song, russion roulatte is a redvelvet song with the weird mv, redvelvet is a unique group in kpop is is a vocal heavy group with having titles like "summer queens" "concept queens" and "bside queens" and are know to have one of the best kpop discography and are known as the trend makers and every comeback they try different concept and sounds and we don't know what you get till the drop it so it is fun being a reveluv welcome to the cult group(they are actually called cult group it is a inside kpop joke) you can randomly check out there song or you can go in order if you want just fyi the last member yeri joined the group 1 year later so she is not in the 1st to music videos of the group.
