As a person that belongs to 90s era, I really enjoy Red Velvet discography. It's not like I'm listening to Kpop genre, it feels like the type of music I've heard growing up. The vibe I can't get from listening to other groups.

Best comment period! Love it, and I feel exactly what you mean, as a person who was a teen in the 90's era RV literally transports me back to that time... there music is at a whole other Level. I'm not taking anything away from the other groups but RV are special, something about them and their music is Magic. BEST IDOL GROUP ALIVE... That moniker is well deserved.... Queens of Harmony... they truly are that.

One of These Nights is so hard to watch as it's about the more than 200 high school students that died in the Sewol ferry disaster. I always choke up and shed some tears. Joy represents the ones that got out safely.

I'm sorry I'm breaking this to you, but this isn't about the Sewol Ferry tragedy. It's based off an old korean tale. But this doesn't mean there aren't references to the tragedy, the MV director could have put some here and there.

One thing I'd like to add notice to is the production on the songs. It's stellar, and coupled with their amazing vocals...! i used to dislike their songs a lot coz it sounds unfamiliar/uncommon.. I was almost an anti... lols. but now, i dig their music more than anyone in kpop... i realized red velvet is a not a hype group hu tends to follow trends/ viral songs. i think they're the only gg that has the backbone 2 release music w/ these unique qualities... I really respect them as artists now. i also appreciate that der songs are not only produced solely for its commercial value...it's art, genre-fusion, & eargasmic...

Take it slow definitely needs to be listened to with lyrics in hand to get the full experience (though I've listened to the first 50 times without knowing them :D ) .... It was from their 1st mini album, so they were still teens and young adults at that time, which is why I feel it suited them very much :)

I never believe/like this kind of reaction vid. closing one's eyes, hardly staring at the monitor, dancing or lipsyncing to the music etc. cause they don't do their best to focus on the MV. just my thoughts not for blaming.
