IT'S RNB GOODNESS, PURE MAGICAL VIBES, VOCAL HEAVEN, AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF IT WAS ALSO PRODUCED BY AN AMAZING ARTIST : SUMIN, WHICH YOU SHOULD DEFO CHECK OUT!!! (She just dropped a second album called "Miniseries 2" with one of her writing partner, Slom, with whom she also did "Miniseries". If you like Rnb, soul, house and jazz influence you HAVE to check her and Slom's albums out!!!!). She also produced and wrote two other fan favorite tracks, "Look" and "Bubble" which are also very high up on my RV bsides ranking!! EYES LOCKED HANDS LOCKED SUPREMACYYYY PS: If you ever get the chance, I recommend listenting to ELHL while walking at night or during a night drive by yourself cuz the VIBESSSS are IMMACULATEEEE!!

This is definitely one of my top Red Velvet albums with all of the feel good songs on it. I also don't understand why UU is such an underrated title track especially compared to how past summer tracks were high up in Korean charts (best summer song of theirs IMO). This album also gives me some of the best yeri and joy vocals, AND it gave me one of my top 5 RV songs Eyes Locked Hands Locked

Umpah Umpah may look and sound like a fun song but it’s Red Velvet so there’s always an undertone of scary. I saw a video of someone explaining the music video and they said “Umpah Umpah” refers to how kids are taught to breathe while swimming but when they say “Umpah pah” it would mean releasing your breath underwater and maybe drowning. It said Irene is trying to drown them 🫣

There's an interview with the producers of Ladies Night on KZbin that is worth watching. That song is almost all real instruments, with a little bit of synth brass to layer with real brass. All the RV members were close to first take in the vocal booth, they came in so prepared.

I definitely recommend you check out Sumin! She is the one wrote Eyes locked, Hands locked and she also wrote Look from The Perfect Velvet. She also wrote other songs like Armageddon, and she has her own album series called "Miniseries" and i think her music fits your personal taste!

Gosh! that 'Eyes Locked Hands Locked' lyrics video was a pain to watch along :O ('coz we luveis know the accurate translations) . They even got certain members' parts wrong. But, nevertheless I'm glad you loved it bro ! Ladies Night and ELHL are my absolute favourites from this album :)

I think you should finish the Reve festival album first only one left out. The title track is Psycho it is a part of the Reve festival finale. The Reve festival finale is a repackaged album consists of Day1 and Day2 and some bsides you missed out those bsides. Its title track is Psycho, I heard you haven't heard the full song of Psycho, I think you will loved it cause everyone does lol its Rnb too!!!

Just want to say that a majority of the translations are very wrong lol but it's all good. They say "Eyes Locked" not put your eyes together haha and Wendy doesn't say anything about breakfast her first verse goes "If you want me, let's make every morning always sweet together"
