Good review. I used to wear redbacks now I have those same pair of thorogoods. My feet hurt way more, definitely won't buy again. Was curious about the Redwings. I work in the brewing industry with hot water and chemicals so definitely don't need soft weak leather. Thanks

Honestly, they fit really well. Really comfortable.

i wore slip on boots as a mechanic for a little bit, my problem with them was that after about a year they stretch out and don’t fit as snug anymore. went back to lace ups. i hate breaking boots in and would rather get them resoled, i won’t resole a stretched out boot i can’t tighten up with laces
