I just got a pair of the 4200’s 2 days ago and I’m pretty happy with them. I oiled them new but so far the break in hasn’t been nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be when I tried them on in the store

Would you recommend these for working on concrete ? I’m a metal framer and I’m standing on concrete all day

Foreign kid Yes, also putting insoles gives you even more comfort.

Dang I assumed the price was because of comfortability, any other boot has decent protection

Be careful with some models of RW boots. Some are made in China, the one which have only lasted a little over a year (1). The sole has open up at the toe and inside. They will have to be replaced in the next few weeks. Also the cost was 2 times the price I normally paid for boots. And NO, you do not always get what you pay for ! Turns out they are made in Cambodia, Style 3506

Yeah all of the king toe boots are made in Cambodia. Some other boots are made in the USA but with imported components

Due to EPA regulations, Red Wing was forced to make their waterproof boots out of country.

No. Not as comfortable as the 2.0 soles, and the dynaforces wore out twice as fast.

The Wisconsin Lifestyle Yes sole is more flexible on 2414. I’ve had mine for over a year now and the sole looks like it’s 2 weeks old. I won’t buy anything else besides 2414

I just buy a 10 dollar tube of shoe goo and do the toe myself, works just as well!! just tape off where you dont want it to go and when it almost dry remove the tape and boom!
