I could very easily end up remaining as NOT a Dad, and still deserve to respect Life’s pace enough, to see the same way. Plus, imo they truly are what I see as the refinement of ARPGs, with the flow of conditionals during a build’s play.

I’ve been playing this game for a few days now and am not a roguelike fan really (I’m not sure if I’ve ever played one before though I’ve seen Hades gameplay before). The darker atmosphere mixed with the manic attitude of games like Ruiner got me to buy this and I haven’t regretted it. Great price for the game and addicting to get into. Goodbye Space Marine 2, hello [REDACTED]!

Escaped twice, the second time on 4 heat and got Zach's passcode, and then stopped playing. A few runs before that, I was already beginning to feel there just wasn't enough drawing me to play again. Really wish there was more build variety. A lot of the systems feels like a rip off of Hades, I feel this is Hades with guns but there is one thing my 49 year old fingers did very appreciate - range by itself is extremely viable (I completely ignored melee in my later winning runs) and range uses the right thumbstick to fire and so not button press / mash is needed. I also mapped the dash to the PS5 edge controller's back buttons, and it was just very "comfortable" to play. The 120 Hz and beautiful graphics were also great. Just not much getting me to replay after a run.
