Your son is so precious oml. "Dad." " _It's moving._ "
@MrZooganopolos8 жыл бұрын
An easy way to keep your son safe -- especially with the plastic toys like those -- is to take some water and add some dish soap or other liquid soap to it. You don't have to go too crazy with the soap, but you do want the water you put it in to feel slippery. It's quite a bit slower than the fire sprays you've used in previous videos, but if you take the toys, submerge them in soapy water and let them soak for an hour or so, pretty much any spider on there should die. Honestly, even if they make their way to the surface of the water, the soap will cause the water to flood their book gills, which will suffocate them. Of course always check the toys when you're done, since the cocoons could potentially survive the flood, but any insect that gets inundated by the soapy water will drown/suffocate. Many insects will tend to float on the water because of a waxy/oily layer that protects them, but the molecules in the soap will render that protection meaningless and allow the water to seep into their spiracles and well.... By all means, give it a shot with an isolated spider and tell me how it works for you. It's always been one of the most effective methods to keep things insect free (without the fire).

Hey Leokimvideo, Just wanted to educate you a little bit. Those trails behind planes are not chemicals. In fact, they are the wake of the airplanes. Any fixed-wing aircraft produces wake off the wing tips. These can be seen easily on a clear day. They spiral down in a circular motion and can take anywhere from 10-15 minutes to dissipate, depending on: wind, speed, altitude, etc. Those planes would not be spraying chemicals so high as they would have no effect. I am a pilot, so trust me I see a lot of this. Enjoyed the video!

People come and freak out about how many you have. But where I used to live here in the US, we had tons of Black Widows, and they hide in every crack possible, and our wheelbarrow had plastic black wheels with indents in them. And sure enough the Black Widows love them. Not only that but there was a space under our house and someone once inspected it, and found that there were TONS of Black Widows underneath. So we dealt with them by using hair spray on them, which works great. So I can understand your pain. (Note: Lots of bugs came in a season, some of which were: Tarantulas, Locusts, and Whip Scorpions. So we had plenty of those, the occasional Scorpion, and a ton of dead Rattlesnakes on the roads.)

@leokimvideo8 жыл бұрын
I think both Redbacks and Black widows share the little red hourglass feature. I don't understand how the australian spider ended up with the red back markings. I do wonder if it has a purpose as a warning marker.
@bigjoe980sgamecorner8 жыл бұрын
Oh no, you're absolutely correct. in fact most (if not all) of the widow species share an hourglass of some sort.. though color is pretty random. Some orange, some white. Just it's particular glossy, hairy appearance made it look like our North American "Hesperus" species when they get older. And on markings. who knows. genetics are...weird. Gotta say, the true albino black widow I saw in Montana was the most beautifully creepy thing around. Once in a lifetime sight.

Nah, it's alright, if ya leave things be ya got no worries mate. Kids in Oz are taught to look, admire, respect but don't touch. Cheers, Rob.

Yea well I have no problem with leaving things be, but I don't think the spiders can say the same, like what the hell, I would get a heart attack if I saw one of these in my house. Idk

I'm gonna have nightmares after counting the redback spiders in the water-filled tub at the end.

Thanks for keeping the "chemtrails are gov't of the world spraying chemicals in the air" short, would of been a shame to spoil one of your GREAT entomology/arachnology study!

I bet your worst nightmare is seeing a redback spider on your wall by the bed. You go to grab a shoe only to see that the spider seemingly teleported and is no longer on the wall

I instantly got triggered when you showed the contrail, it’s the warm air mixing with the cold air creating a type of condensation that lasts usually a short period of time, and correct me if I’m wrong but I believe it hurts the atmosphere a bit.

A tip for you Leo use hot soapy water it does the trick I had a friend who kept tarantulas and when ever one needed to be put down that's how he done it for example if one got stuck in mould and couldn't break free everyone he asked said it was the least inhumane way of doing it hopefully you will see this and it helps,,

Most spiders scare the piss out of me, but from a nice, safe distance, I can acknowledge that these deadly little ladies are rather pretty. Would I want to meet one? HECK NO. But from a few thousand miles away, they're kinda pretty.
