That gearing is spot on, and that CVT sounds like its working perfectly. High acceleration, pretty good top speed, and the engine rpm sounds correct. Probably the best implementation I've seen/heard on all the channels I watch.

This thing really rips! On the 440cc build video, I was dumb and asked if the Vegas 460 carb would work, what I meant to ask was would the Vegas 460 connecting rod work on these 440? Would be nice to bump up for more torque since VegasCarts no longer sells the 460 engines anymore.

Great top end. Should put some road tyres on it and the smaller diameter will help with getting it up top end? If you start finding that the final drive sprocket is getting "too large" you can add additional reduction drive 😉

For the suspension version, I suggest lengthening the wheelbase to keep the pedals rearward of the front wheels. You don’t want the first part of your vehicle hitting the wall to be your feet This also means you can/should widen it a tad, which will be a benefit for you making the suspension geometry easier to get right. Also-also look into control-blade rear suspension, you don’t need much room and it eats bumps for breakfast, even with borked shocks (it’s travel keeps the wheel in the right camber further through the travel than pretty much any other style)

I have a mega moto pro with an almost stock tillotson 212, I say almost stock engine, it's got a stage 1 kit. It still new and had maybe 2 hours on it and amsoil brake in oil in it, I bought a magnet dip stick for it from home depot. I also just bought a duromax generator, the 9000 is, that to will be getting amsoil break in oil and a magnet dip stick. Take good care of an engine and it will take good care of you.

Used 2 of these engines on swaps on my golf carts one stock one with Billet rod flywheel camshaft valve springs Mikuni carburetor both are holding up well been on them for around 3 plus years

I like it I just love go-karts to boot but 1 thing you should try to do is lower the moter down not as high in the rear because it should be centered better..I like the short frame design too..but it does run good

Looks like the adjuster sprocket might come awfully close to the other side of chain once it stretches I would have left little extra room but u prob have it just right so who am I I’m sure it doesn’t adjust past where it hits hopefully it won’t stretch that much my minibike rt 200 stretched had retighten it three dif times just be cheap chain tho I’d say got the bike from Walmart .. great video tho this is awesome
