This is Johnny, I started with Lolly and Pat in 1963, I played in the surf group “The Avantes” and after that ended I did sessions with the wrecking crew. Lolly was the fastest learner in music EVER! His impact is in so many areas of music, he wrote the theme for the munsters TV show, he was gifted ! I played CGYL on tour for 3 days when the drummer was sick. Opening with that 12345 snare was all it took to have those asses bumping!

Only Americans and Europeans have no respect for elders
@phaedrussmith19497 ай бұрын
We have worked very hard to maintain our cultures. When the lands we lived on were invaded and taken from us, one of the things the invaders worked most to do was strip away our culture and leave us with only their society to guide us in life. Societies drift with the wind because they are controlled by the people who control the society. Rarely do they have the interests of the people in mind and so very soon the people who have lost their culture also lose their way. It happened when the Romans invaded Europe, and it happened again when the Europeans invaded this land. #we're still here

My very favorite version! There was an extended version on Rick... Oh my gosh I forgot his last name... Concert; Pat and Lolly were both dressed in blue and I think Tony was wearing his native regalia with the gold satin shirt. I believe that's the one where Butch was wearing a white shirt with the red roses on it. Anyway this was a real good one and at the end they just shredded the guitars and the drums and then Lolly just threw his arm around in a circle, clenched his fist, and came down Hard! Everybody shut it down at once! It was so dramatic! Just really climactic!
