Its probably because of the road just look at the condition of it. You wouldn't want to be moving side to side much, its really only suitable for a straight course even if that, except crashing on it is still going to be painful..

one issue I have is 'how' this is scored as according to them creativity and performance are added to time, with the highest total winning. so it occurs to me (if their explanation is right) the best stratagy is to make your run last as long as possible, thus running up your score. except that doesnt work, as speed seems important. so maybe this should be reviewed and corrected.

the time is calculated differently and the result of that calculation of the time is added to the score. Basically, the faster the higher the speed score. If you go slow, you won't get a high speed score.
