More works needs to be done with the launch trolleys. You could test flying ok but launching on the trolley which drop off has differnt forces.

I'm curious on the limitations. It seems really obvious to have minimal loose wiring around and to have at the very least elevator control. Quite depressing that MIT schools can't even make a proper glider without accounting for wind, balance, and separation from push contraption.

As a pilot that MIT thing looked like a disaster before it moved. Who though of some idea of opposing horizontal lift in the winglets? Not to mention the flat surface on the leading edge of the vertical stabiliser. BUT they clearly spent a lot of focus on a generic wing design and then more on making sure it was well built, it looked like it anyway. Everything else though is just laughable at best and pure pus at worst.
