1:05 what does he mean “the old Hong 10”? Like I know Hong was a finalist 2005-2007 (winner 2006), but wasn’t she still a top tier bboy from 2008-2012? He still was doing IBE and although lost RBBC1 2009, etc, he still made it there…. They make it sound like he completely fell off, but I don’t believe at that time in 2013 he did. Am I incorrect?

He had a lot of new moves but crashed often, this was also around the time that cleanliness started becoming more important in bboying. He also had bandages on his back at BC One 2011 when he lost R1 to Yan, so he may have been injured. After 2011 Hong went to the military so the last memory people had of him was this post-prime, sloppier version of Hong. So when he re-emerged in 2013, came back with even more difficult moves and executed them properly on the biggest BC One stage of all time, it was equally surprising and amazing

Respect to Mounir for making it this far in this comp as a defending champ in the following year. Too bad this time I think he repeated the chair freeze too often even if it was 'different' transitions. Hong 10 came hard in this competition and responded well with his new signatures, variety and smooth transitions on every battle. I'm confident that he could've did 2-3 more sets EASILY if this battle had more sets. Congrats to Hong 10! a well deserved victory!

Why are u mentioning it? Regarding the battle with Hong 10, i think Honk had a slight advantage, but it was a close win anyway, no large margin there. So one may vote for Mounir and this is not conspiracy or fraud for me. According to u all judges MUST vote for the same bboy. All battles should be 5-0, right? That makes no sense.

He voted for Mounir this one due to him being French and part of the same crew. When it was evident Hong 10 took this battle.
