I couldn’t help but think the two guys after Jony had near zero experience playing fighting games. No offense, but they were way off in terms of stick ergonomics. Button layout on the Pandora’s box stick was neither Viewlix nor Noir, and the Smoke and LCD on the third one seemed sooo distracting. Jony’s on the other hand was clean and made with so much love. He’s a Titan in the stick building community imo, and knows quality components that actually matter. Not to mention the unique graphic design and thoughtful nods to Vietnamese heritage (wooden figures and “zen” being key in fighting game success). Dude knows what he’s doing, and you can TELL in Anakin’s insane grin the entire time. Good stuff man.

Daniel's stick was definitely a real spectacle, but I'd take Jony's over it any day. It was definitely the most practical one while still looking just insane enough to really draw attention.

The Nobi pro claims to have a stiffer spring. I owned both the standard version and pro version. If there was a difference I couldn't tell in the spring. Standard is square gate (more Squacto) the Pro is Octo gate.

any regular controller like a ps4 pad has both a joystick and a dpad, and the hitbox crossup has both a lever and directional buttons. both are legal in tournaments.

SURELY a stick shooting lasers and blowing smoke is not tournament legal. Lol I mean idk how many TOs have rules in place specifically for that but realistically Jony's seems the most usable. Russ' seems like it's going to be way too top heavy but they were all a cool spin at the task.

Seriously why have fight sticks trended towards these super close configurations between buttons and sticks? It's totally unnatural and there's no reason for it! I'd want the spacing to be about the same as your hands with a mouse and keyboard, essentially slightly less than shoulder width apart. Daniel's was clearly the best, and if it wasn't I don't think he would have chosen it. Jony is obviously a very skilled creator and a big part of the community, so it's predictable that his fans would come in here and call him the winner, without taking their own bias into account. Sometimes it takes someone from the outside to come in and break the mold, or abrupt a current trend that doesn't make sense. I believe Anakin felt this way at least. Anyway, all three were very cool, but the right build won! Also, to everybody saying the smoke and lasers are too distracting, come on man! It's just for show and have a little fun! I'm 100% positive you could turn that off in competition if you felt it was too distracting, and that the mini lcd is programmable to show whatever you want.

I like the first stick but the third one is pretty close. That lcd screen on the third stick should have been used as a frame data info screen based on the game you're playing. Good stuff none the less.
