Compliments to Redcat! This company is different from all the other, they follow their own path with American iconic cars (from the Scout!) BRAVISSIMI that means Bravo plus. While all the other are fighting with bashers, crowlers and so on they don't fight and bravely arrive on the market with this kind of unexpected beauties. Ciao!!!

WoW. I always knew something was good about Redcat, I took a lot of heat for saying that, I own the original volcano epx Pro from gosh maybe 10 years ago the thing was a nightmare but I knew Redcat had something going on. Then came the scout versionone which again broke the mold and I can start seeing a true Fanfare beginning for the company. I admit I am a Traxxas fanboy but there are five red cats in the stable, I prefer Redcat over any of the Horizon products, I do have a couple scx24 crawlers as well as the yeti Can-Am SO 3 axial and one losi mini t. Point is "if any" keep it up redcat!!! Great review as always brother!! That's awesome you're the mountain bike scene I didn't know that until I read one of the comments that's awesome dude!

What's special about them is they keep improving with every release. Not resting on their high horse so they will be in a great spot in 3-5 years.

Looks good & all, but the biggest drawback is that it's made for pavement, black top & generally flat surfaces. While other brands have their piggyback trucks made to use on trails, crawling and just about any other surfaces.

Make it 4wd and do standard ride height or lifted ride height instead of laying flat

Lack of 4wd or any off pavement ability hurts me. I will find a 4wd chassis to put that gorgeous body on. I'm going it'll fit on a trx6 G63. That cab with a flat bed or maybe a log truck type bed would be cool. I will figure out a way to make it work.

I'm 64 and I am to save my pennies and will have one of these. 😎👍 Great review! I saw these trucks around growing up in Goleta. In the 70s I was in highschool and there were two of these trucks in my neighborhood. Never met the owners but these guys must have really loved these trucks, the were both in great mechanical shape and we'll taken care of. 1949-50 would have no wing windows, 51-53 have wing windows. Red Cat dropped this piece of ART and the mic. This thing is sick for days. I think we just saw the birth of the next R/C car icon.

the bed is exactly 10th scale. the cab had to be made bigger to look close as possible, and for action figures to fit.
