So which truck Honestly is the all around better vehicle, I know they all have there Pro's & Con's but what would do Honesty thinks the better climber the better truck? Im debating on which one to buy? Thank you

trx 4 is good climber and so is redcat gen 8 but personally the redcat have more ways of customizing than the trx 4 as traxxas sells parts seperate whereas the gen i has most you need

They are both great platforms. Each need their tweaks to meet the individual need. Over all you won’t be disappointed in either the Trx4 or the gen8axe

@@thomasgross8289 I own them both now Gen 8 Scout ii & Trx4 & I have to disagree with you. The gen 8 is more rugged & built for power /strength whereas if your looking more for speed & trail riding then the trx4 fits that bill. Ive hopped both these trucks to the gills with each of there own aftermarket parts & my gen 8 out crawls the trx4 in almost every scenario. now if lined them up to race the traxxas wins everytime. there both sporting a HH 550 21 T with HW 1080 esc & program card. Both great trucks depending on what your after, I prefer low gear power & crawling...

Wow I need to do that jeep body to mine. I dont mind the Scout body but i'm a Jeep guy at heart, I've had YJ, TJ, JK and JL jeeps. This one looks amazing! Did you have to adjust the stock gen8 axe wheelbase or did this body mount right up with ease?

Eric Schlaht thanks man. Me too! I have pretty much destroyed the scout body already lol. This is the 12.8” body so it fits really well. I didn’t have luck with the proline gladiator body on this gen8 (too small at 12.3” wb). I was trying to wait out on a jl body, but the jk will have to do for now.

Eric Schlaht yep. Came clear and I painted it. Had to install the body post mounts on the gen8 and drill some holes
