The TR sure is responsive in there! One thing I'd say is pop your diffs out and remove the shim on the crown gear side. The mesh is too tight that's partly why it overheated like that I think. I removed mine and it rolls and sounds so much better! Half my driveshafts where out of phase as well. 🤨 Side note, in my initial running video my esc made noises a few times, it sounded like the esc was restarting, like it was making the startup beeps. I noticed it during editing, my guess was the cheap switch. 🤷‍♂

Other than the throttle issue, well dead spot, I thought it did pretty good over heat um Small single fan on motor and let's face it, does anyone leave in stock red cat electronics? I tend to run it hard, burn it out and replace, that's esc, servo and motor

If it's a motor pole location confusion, maybe the ESC lets you change timing settings? That may help.

@@cherandissanayake9530 curious to know why you feel the need to upgrade the differentials in this RC it's the same as the WOV and the differentials are already almost X-Maxx size 😳 You can upgrade the motor, tires and wheels, bearings, ESC, servo and even do a body change. But my question to you is why If the RC is already out of the box in good shape for the money

You could knock a tooth off the pinion and it would help with what you were experiencing... Also that setup loves high quality packs. I have run Zee's and then some good Gens Ace packs and it makes a definite difference in the way it drives. The Zee's or the lower priced packs have some hesitation as they cant push the amps that the esc wants.

Basically the esc is asking for more amps than the battery can provide. The load is generated from the higher tooth pinion. Easy way to see if its the packs is lower the pinion and repeat. The mechanical advantage of the lower pinion will make it load the battery less.
