Redd Kross singing with super fan piano guy “Yesterday Once More” at El Club, Detroit 7-30-24

After their great set at El Club, I was hanging out inside with friends, we were like the last to get out of the club. I walk out to some “Linus and Lucy” piano tinkering. Someone pulled out a piano from nowhere (back of a van I heard) and set up on the sidewalk in front of El Club. The piano guy (I did not catch his name) and his buddy were super Redd Kross fans. He regaled us with ‘70s standards with us all singing along (including my loud off key dumb ass). Elton John, Wings and of course The Carpenters that Redd Kross covered oh so many year ago. Great night!
