Very nicely done video! Just remember the locking ring is a Nut. The screw in the locking ring is a male part which is always a bolt or screw. Not a Nut. A Nut always has a female center. Something that is always good to explain to the wife.

Why don’t you turn out the micrometer, put the press in it’s hijghest position and then turn the micrometer down on the case until it touches? You can get the optimal crimp by turning down the micrometer in small steps. Or am i wrong? Just asking, i’m not very familiar with these dies

You are very meticulous and this video was a joy to watch. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with us. By an chance, can you do a video on an RCBS seat/crimp combo die? I am in a predicament because I want to use a bullet feeder with my press but don't want to lose the ability to check the powder; therefore, my only option is a seat/crimp combo die in one station and there are no videos out there, guiding me. Definitely none as thorough as yours. I just subscribed to your channel because I honestly think that I'd be learning a lot from you. Thanks again and God bless!

357 Mag Guy 2015 thank you for your kind words. I have never used a die for both seating and crimping in a single operation. Therefore, I would not be able to make such a video. But you might be able to call RCBS Customer Service and get some useful information.

don’t suppose you have a video of redding micro-adjustable seating die?

+bérénice creuzé Hello. First, I hope you and your family and friends were not harmed in the recent Paris attacks. The company Redding makes micro-adjustable bullet seating and case crimping dies for 9mm. If you go to the following url, www.redding-reloading.com/download-our-catalog you can download their product catalog. On page 4 you can read about their micro-adjustable bullet seating die (they call it the Competition Bullet Seating Die) and their adjustable crimping die. The crimp die for 9mm is listed as 38 Super/9 mm. These dies will fit any reloading press that uses 7/8 - 14 threads, which is almost every press made in the USA. If you are looking for reloading data, I always start with the powder manufacturer, which for you would be www.vectan.fr. I hope this has been useful and I wish you and your family a very enjoyable holiday season.
