Okay with absolute sincerity, if there existed a version of this that teleported you after the initial bounce, there would be a lot of potential for cool stuff. Imagine making a secret entrance or something that you could only get to by throwing this against the wall at an angle that brought you where you need to be. Fun fact: if a ball would loose half the energy in each bounce, each bounce would take half the time that the previous one took. If you live ball bouncing like that. If you would leave the ball bouncing like that it would turn out that by the time it stopped bouncing it would make infinite number of bounces, but the total time that it required to do so would be finite (precisely, it will be double the time of the first bounce).

This makes me want a feature where you can combine slime with various items for bouncy effects. Combine slime with a sword? Get increased knockback (maybe at the cost of strength, making it more of an escape tool). Combine slime with a Pearl? It bounces and teleports you after the second or third landing. Slime with arrows? They bounce off walls and floors until they either hit an enemy or lose enough speed, with the speed being reduced on each bounce. Slime with boots? Reduced fall damage, and you bounce when you land (there's a mod that I once played that had slime boots that functioned similarly, and they were fun to mess with). There's some fun potential there.

Adding feathers will give you slow falling. Magma Cream will make it bounce, and emit fire at that location before teleporting. Adding Skulk will make it activate skulk censors near by. Adding fish will make pearl swim through water like a torpedo. Adding TNT will explode on the bounce impact near to the size of a wither skull explosion. Adding rabbits foot will make the pearl bounce twice. Mushrooms will disorient the pearl making it curve in a random direction. Adding a shulker box fragment (what ever it’s called) will make the pears have 0 gravity. Adding pearls all around it in the crafting table will make the pearl bounce and create a blue portal, then when it’s done bouncing it’s last location is where the pear will make the red portal. Adding bone meal will make the pearl fertilize where it bounces. Adding a sponge makes it absorb water. Adding a bucket of any liquid peaceable will place it on Impact witn the first jump. Adding a arrows surrounding the pearl in the crafting table, will drop arrows until it bounces. Adding ice will make it freeze the bouncing location. Adding cactus will make the pearl damage a player near it. Adding glow stone dust makes a trail of temporary light. Adding a beacon will create a random effect buff where it flys. Adding soul sand and one wither skull with the pearl in the middle, will make it create a larger explosion + dropping the star. Adding a beacon will temporarily blind players who are near. Adding a slime block will multiply the bounciness by 2 and the applies to any of the ones that are above 👆 👆 👆 except for the portal pearl. Adding invisibility will make the pearls transparent. Adding lingering potions will make it linger apon impact with the ground. BASICALLY ALL THE IDEAS I COULD THINK OF.

If a bouncy pearl hits a mob, the pearl breaks and the mob gets "slimey" effect for 40 seconds. They take lvl 3 knockback + bounce off the ground as if it was made of slime blocks. And like sticky pistons / slime blocks stick to blocks. If a mob with "slimey" effect hit a wall, they stick to the side, similar to being stuck in cobweb.

Oh great idea for this. It bounces off sides or bottoms of blocks but when it lands on top of a block it breaks and teleports you there. This would make enfer pearls much safer (ie avoiding falling into void while crossing end islands) and would also allow you to travel further or navigate around corners. This would be so cool!

Explain fortune 3? So you know how infinity creates ghost arrows you can't pick up, and so does multishot. It creates a clone of it, although with looting you can actually interact with those clones it creates, so it's not that you just get out all the resources but it uses the magical power to create matter off of the design of the object it's duplicating, and the reason you can't duplicate it further is because the enchantment is just a harvester of the entity's soul. The universe keeps balance between matter and energy. but Minecraft has more types of energy that just physical. That explains why you get more chickens out of one with looting, or in that case more ender "pearls". Another thing people always complain about is the drop rate of blaze rods. "If the blaze has 12 rods on it, why don't I get all 12?" Well it's because of the fact that trying to kill it and slice it may break most of the blaze rods and you can't even collect the powder because the rods have the spinning momentum and it flies all over the air.

If the bouncy pearls teleported you after one bounce then not only would you be able to clear larger distances but if you're in the end and accidentally throw a bouncy pearl onto the side of an island it'll bounce into the void and you won't get teleported; it's a much safer alternative to ender pearls in that sense

The Ender Pearl is the Enderman’s brain. That’s what allows them to teleport at will and why it only drops one. When killing them with Fortune, before they die, the Enderman’s will die in alternate dimensions as well, making them die and drop multiple pearls. When they drop nothing, it’s because of them knowing that you will have their power to teleport, even only once, so before the blade hits them, they shatter the Pearl from the inside out, causing them to die but at the same time keep their lord, the Ender Dragon, away from harm for just a little longer.

Idea: sticky ender pearls. They stick to things, and when you press the drop button (q), you teleport to it. Like a stasis chamber but you don’t need someone else!
