For the nurse story, if she’s making so much more money why not just higher a housekeeper for 1 or 2 days? It’s not that crazy. It’s like 50$ to have your floors cleaned and bathroom done, a little more to also get a lawn cAre person. My friend, whose sing, does in fact higher a housekeeper every Friday and lawn care once a month. It’s won’t break the bank from what it sounds like from the story. She’s saving a lot so spend the $75-$100 a week for the help. And yes she needs to do something as well but it honestly sounds like the husband is just getting. Taste of what most wives do and doesn’t like it.

@vindifference7 ай бұрын
Yeah, I feel like Josh just fumbled an easy one there. Teen or not, a job's a job. Getting suggestions on how to do it better is what teens actually need and is a lot more lenient than what would actually happen for an adult. You can't just absolve teens of responsibility in doing a job well just because they're young. Otherwise, what's the point? Giving them free money? Teen jobs are opportunities to test themselves in responsible adult performance. If they can't pull it off, they shouldn't be hired.

Having compatible schedules is extremely important in a long-term relationship. I think both parties need to agree on a change as big as that. My husband went to 4 10's at the beginning of the year and we talked a lot about the pros and cons of 1st or 2nd shift. 2nd shift was still the right choice but things are going downhill there fast and it's become crazy stressful. So, he's applying for jobs at hospitals that pay less but the commute is cut in half and the work environment will be(🤞) better for him. Monet can't always be the deciding factor for "what's best." And NEVER take a job that your spouse is against, for reasonable concerns!

Idkkk man. If my "family & so called friends" had group xhats without me and i found out. Id be *livid!* Why would he reach out to family if they arent making a slim effort to ask him when they decide to do things? Esp when they are keen on going out more than he is. Doesn't mean that you DON'T check in and ask if they wanna go?! Why is it so hard for family to check in on the silent ones and try and get them out of the house? Apparently ignoring them and treating them like an outsider and then finding out later on, is even better. Smh. His family is shtt. I feel for that brother. On so many levels. They suucckkk!! 🤦🏽♀️💩🤡💀

PS. Dad will live. Mom is allowed to have a job, just as much as he is. She can work whatever hours she'd like. If she likes the bigger pay and needs her then, she doesn't NEED to give up her job. She shouldn't have to risk HER life. Why is it always on the woman to change HER life around for the man? Most women DON'T have a choice in being a mom and doing it all 99% of the time. If she enjoys it. Leave it alone. Holy crap. It's not that big of a deal. She doesn't need to be the home maker all the fuggin' time. So, no. Absolutely NOT.

35 dollars is a real suspicious amount of money if your starving why not ask for money for a slice of pizza or a sandwich. 35 dollars feeds a family of 4 in pizza. I call bullshiy
@eva15856 ай бұрын
Fr, I dont know pizza prices in the US but just looking at the menu for my local pizzeria the most expensive FAMILY SIZE pizza BARELY reaches 30 dollars. There are way cheaper food options that will still fill you up well. Like you said, a sandwich or hell, use the money to get groceries if you're asking for 35. Then you can get food for at least a week or two.
@lina95356 ай бұрын
I remember a time where I could barely afford food, and even though I'm not "in the church" anymore (where I live, you're like... written into the church, it's a practice they've had for ages, kind of like a publicly accessible birth record thing, but you're "Christian" automatically, and you get the lovely church tax, you can write yourself out of that whenever), I live right across the street from one of the churches in my town. They very often have loafs of bread (or is it loaves 🤔) that you can ask for if you're in a bad spot. It's like... I want to say the closest thing we have to a food bank where I live. In most countries, you can always go to a church and ask for help (this church sometimes even have free lunch or "coffee breaks"). Also, $35 for a pizza? That's a bit too much.
