Did you only machine out the inner hole where the shock goes through or also the hole where the nut sits in?

just the hole to accommodate the bigger shaft on the M car. I the stock nut fits no problem.

Took about 2.5 hours but I could probably do it in half that time after figuring out thing like using the socket to guide the bolt through the mount
