I can admit the same even as an firm atheist who has studied Christian theology for basically my whole life.... I don't necessarily agree with Redeemed Zoomer on everything (obviously) but he has a great way of "drawing out" abstract concepts that are easy to share with my Pentecostal family members. Videos like this help me reference Christianity from a historical perspective, which is something I wasn't used to learning about growing up in a Charismatic/Pentecostal missionary household. Due to my missionary parents needing to fundraise at many churches, I have attended congregations of almost every denomination and these videos help me connect all the dots between nuanced differences in their beliefs.

Hi, my name is Giuseppe, I am writing from Italy and I am Catholic but I wanted to give you my best compliments and encouragement for the precious service you carry out in favor of the Word of God and His Gospel! Like you, I also believe that the Church - all the Churches and Christian confessions! - they must be continually reformed to be ever more faithful to the mission that the Lord has given them and to become compliant with the One and Only Master who is the Lord Jesus! Please pray for us Catholics as I too will pray for your important mission on behalf of the Churches of the Reformation. The Lord bless you!

@@LiberavenBe happy, you can believe in Christ and be saved. One time when i was going to Church on Easter, its fastes for me to just go straight foward. On half of the way, i felt like, (i do not know how to explain that ) , but i felt that i just must go right way, no straight foward. But i thinked, if i go right, i will then walk much longer. When i menage to walk straight foward, i again felt that i must go right. I tryed to ignore that feeling and just go straight, but that feeling couldn't left me, if i continued to go straight foward i felt that i whould be "exploded ". Then i felt again that i must go right. I think that God wanted me to go right, even if its longer way. So i get to go right, and after less of 5 minutes some friend with car comed to me on that path and said,, You going to Church? Come on, get in car. " It was big suprise. And so i get to Church like that, very faster. God made for me longer path shorter, it dose not matter what we people think or want, God always know better. If Lord , and Christianity is false, then Who said to me to go right?

Something was telling me that, and i could feel. I was lazy and tired and just wanted to go home, tryed to ignore that feeling or voice. But that feeling was not gonna left me. I felt that i whould "explode" if i did not go. So, i decided to go. When i arrived there, i found him lie down on floor of bathrom. He could not stood up alone. I helped him. How i whould ever know that? God who see all guided me there, to use me to help.

He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. [13] He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. [15] Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. Your content could've easily and profitably devolved into low effort drivel, spectacular videos that drag on banalities and aggrandize them to excite the spirit rather than elevate it or culture war engagement farming, but you keep explaining/discussing actual serious ideas and doing so to serve a specific, articulated purpose. Great video! Fort those wondering about The Bible being "The Word of God": Apostle Paul: "And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers." 1 Thessalonians 2:13 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-7 Apostle Peter: (Peter talking about Paul's letters): "He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction." 2 Peter 3:16

@@jdotoz Well, in the Bible Paul said that Scripture is sufficient for the edification of the Church and for ALL good works. Peter already referred to what Paul wrote as scripture, indicating that the apostles already equated his writings with the same level of authority as the writings of the Old Testament. The Pharisees, who were the religious authority of the time, appealed to an oral tradition that dates back to the time of Moses, and Jesus always refuted them with Scripture and saying things like "it is written", "have you not read it?" and "the Word of God cannot be broken." In the Primitive Church, Gnostics and other Heretics appealed to teachings that they supposedly received from the apostles in addition to Scripture, and the Church fathers countered with the Scripture of the New Testament. In Catechetical Cathecism, while speaking about the Holy Spirit, Cyril of Jerusalem went so far as to say that we could not say absolutely anything that had not already been revealed in Scripture. Since the first centuries of the Churches, bishops disagreed among themselves about what oral tradition was and, to this day, despite appealing to the same oral tradition, Catholics and Orthodox have very different theologies, adhere to different Ecumenical Councils and have different Canons. I stand with the Apostle Paul on the sufficiency of Scripture.

Hi there. I have a bachelors in biblical history. Just a couple of important facts that were incorrect around 2:50 . The Pharisees were not the leaders of the temple; that was the Saducees. The Pharisees were more like religious scholars or proto-Rabbis. Also, it was not the temple authority which killed Jesus, it was the Roman authority. The Romans were trying to placate the anti-Jesus crowd.

I@liberaven - I was thinking this, too. Thanks for your comment. Also, Zoomer says 'the Temple was destroyed', but doesn't say by who! I know he has to keep things succinct, but it would be more informative if he added, 'by the Romans'.

@@comicsans1689 incorrect. A select group of Sadducees and Pharisees conspired with Judas to have Jesus put before Pilate. They encouraged him to crucify Jesus. No other Jews aside from that crowd there that day have blood on their hands.

I like your video style. I think you're very, very talented. Since this is Chapter 1, and your thumbnail did say the one thing all denominations agree on, I do think we should look at … Love. We can have all hermeneutical hypotheses of proper theological timelines but if we do not have love, we have failed, as I think Paul would agree and mentions regularly in his epistles Jesus Christ said, if we love him, we will follow his command, and that is to love. Jesus Christ is our Savior, but he is also our Lord and Savior. We cannot forget the Lord part, and the Lord gives a command, and that command is to love. Everything hinges upon love. Number one is love, and actually everything is hung below that. Jesus has set this hierarchy himself in all the gospels . This is our command. I am grateful for salvation. I am grateful for the ability to study historical details. However, I am aware that it is possible for Christians to get caught up in religious detail while forgetting love, so I do think it is important for us all to resonate on love and ask the deep questions of what is love, and why did Jesus say everything else was hung upon it? How can we approach our metaphysical perspectives with this as our most prime focus? As the thumbnail begs the question, what do all denominations agree on? I do believe the vast majority believe that Jesus Christ himself places a hierarchy with greatest thing that we can do in whatever free will we do have is….. to love with our mind, heart strength, and soul
