There are a ton of KZbinrs who would’ve spent the next two years repairing this car 10 minutes at a time, just for the views. But not you, just honest and right to the point. This channel is automotive perfection.

I don't think it's dishonest to make short update videos. It's just a different format. I'm like you probably are--I prefer these episodes but there's nothing wrong with doing it a different way, you and I might not watch but others will.

Lol imagine what regular KZbinrs would do on project Chicago, that would've been at least 50 episodes. "Engine runs!" "Getting the car road worthy!" "First drive went well"(drive around the block) "I broke the car!" "What actually went wrong?" "Future plan on B7?"

It's not for me, but imho if they want to do it 10 minutes at a time over 2 years, that's fine. What really pisses me off is these channels who don't do ANYTHING and pretend to fix things and farm that for clickbait views. (Just search for airplane restoration and you'll see what I mean)

Never before has a channel so thoroughly enthralled me. I still remember the first of your videos that I watched, the "V12 E38 First start in 5 years". Ever since then I've watched every single video, every second of them. Your content is absolutely phenomenal, and there's no one else that can get me to sit down and watch one video for as long as your videos are. No other channel has made me wish I could just throw money at you so you could make more videos!

I do not think, i ever saw an E30 sitting that high (before you changed the springs), even from teh factory, except maybe the iX versions. Ah man this makes me even more happy than after the previous "final video". Just seeing the car is back in outstanding shape and a happy Sreten also makes me happy. Also it is a nice extra bonus to hear that the car will actually be enjoyed and not just being a garage queen. I really believe that the previous owner will love the work and effort that has been put into the car. After all, everything that has been modified is reversible, so even the purists should be happy. Personally I absolutely LOVE it! Watching you restoring neglected old BMW:s is so satisfying. I own an e34 535i and an e28 518i (now m30b25) myself, restoring both of them. Both of them used to be neglected turds of corse. Keep up the good work! :) Greetings from Finland

I am in awe! I had back in 1989 a 1984 BMW 318i in Henna-rot, an E30. We imported it from Züg, Switzerland into Costa Rica. Originally it was my dad’s. When the car came, he gave me the keys for staying with him in the family business -a printing shop. It was like selling the soul to Mr. Scratch. Only better because I got a BMW coupe! We used a loop hole in the law that allowed to import 4 years of age vehicles and paying over invoice price less “depreciation” times 100% import duty. I loved this machine! I even learned the quirks of the L-Jetronic analog fuel injection. On mine the cold start circuit malfunctioned! As the cold start solenoid governing inputs from the thermostat housing and intake air temperature misbehaved causing the engine to drown warm. Mine came with a thermal reactor that injected filtered air into the exhaust manifold to lower HC emissions. It made the engine ping due to the tropical temperatures and the capital city’s 1,100 meters above sea level altitude and poor 95 RON fuel! To avoid pinging I mixed half a tank of 95 Ron with AVGas 100/130 that I bought on an small aircraft airport. Then with the anti-drug dealing laws they couldn’t pump AVGas directly to my tank… I regretted having sold it! I wanted to prove myself that I could buy a new vehicle equipped with air conditioning -a must in my beloved country- and power steering. But that is how life is when you’re young! Today my Henna-rot coupe would be a collectors item. In Costa Rica due to the poor roads then and now the BMW dealer recommended the installation of an oil pan guard just in case you went into a crater and cracked the oil pan. So I was thinking when you were lowering the car not to lower it! But you’re in Deutschland, home of the Autobahn!

This has been a journey and a half, but the end result... damn, it is gorgeous, and we can tell how much it meant to you. Hell, you sounded quite emotional at some points during the video, and rightly so. This is a spectacular car, and it' sure to turn many heads in the future! If I may say something _slightly_ heretical in this holy land of broken BMWs, though... as much as I love seeing all these awesome cars, that Mercedes W201 at 46:46 will always be a dream car of mine. It might be slow, old, whatever. Just the looks of it put such a smile on my face!
