the thing is tho is i'm sure most of these brands DO have "exotic" flavors of their snacks, but from a business standpoint, it doesn't make any sense to release certain flavors that aren't widely popular in that specific country. so for example, in japan they have matcha oreos; because matcha is a widely popular flavor there so they'll get a lot of sales. america however, (even tho i'm sure tons of americans love matcha), they're not going to sell as many. they'll be making extra product with less profit.
@KungFuGrievous3 ай бұрын
Ohh... Like Japanese kitkat that has whole variety of flavors, which is exclusive to Japan
@registeredjopper3 ай бұрын
they could make them limited edition, which would serve as a potential soft launch to test the market AND they could make the box art look cool so people want to collect them as well. there's a way the business could do it, they just don't want to/see the potential. and tbh, this would bring more attention to pop tarts than it's had in ages.
@BobUikder-ig4uq2 ай бұрын
Exactly. Also it cuts down on food waste, if they are making and selling products that will do well and be purchased alot. Each country has their own national flavor profiles and common foods and ingredients.. it’s why you find certain flavors of snacks in Japan vs Hungary vs Canada. Like Canada has different flavored potato chips than America bc they have different national dishes.
@BobUikder-ig4uq2 ай бұрын
@@registeredjopperthere’s already a huge food waste issue in this country. Lychee is not popular in America, there’s a tiny niche amount of people that would buy these but majority would be wasted.
