You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing a Dyson
Sphere, a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its
power and energy. Only a few decades ago it was considered a hypothetical, impossible invention - but now it’s in your hands… if you can manage to develop this space workshop in some galactic backwater into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire!
ABOUT EARLY ACCESS
While the core mechanics of Dyson Sphere Program are ready, the game still can grow and evolve a lot - and Early Access is just the perfect place for it to reach its true potential. We believe that by letting players experience the main content of Dyson Sphere Program and actively interacting with them to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it much better than it would be without this Early Access stage. Our plans are for this EA stage to be about 1 year long. But that is not written in stone

You know, I really relate to the whole "I don't want to tap the copper veins" thing. The whole "tap the whole planet" business is probably my least favorite part of this game. I'm looking forward to seeing how the new advanced mining machine might improve that experience.

it makes it a lot easier, and you can even set up additional (old) miners that belt feed into the advanced miner if it's footprint excludes a few nodes of the vein

The new advanced miners are extremely good. It can cover more veins, act as a logistics station, its base mining speed is 200% and can be overclocked to 600%. You can also build more (old) miners below and connect them to it to maximize efficiency. I did some preliminary calculations and mining operation is at least twice better and more convenient than before

7:45 - Iron not inbound. Notice that even though iron is available on this planet, it looks like your ILS is waiting for vessels to get it from off-world. I think they might've mucked with the priority and now Vessels are prioritized over Drones. I have had many problems with builds stalling because they reach out off-world for resources available in large quantities on the local world.

In blue print mode you can drag and multi paste. So you can copy ten solar panels. Then paste 10 10 times. Makes it super fast to create a full ring

36:11 on the frame only thing, i wonder if there be a small loophole cause if you destroy a built frame it explodes into sails and they try to find a home the achievement says not to launch a sail but what about sails created from destroying a frame?

Is there an advantage to building each material item from raw components vs say having an interim production point for each stage? Like wouldn't you be able to reduce complexity and space by having a dedicated pull for the things like processors, titanium crystals, etc. (functionally anything that has more than a single use) or is there an inherent disadvantage to doing that that I'm just not thinking of? My main curiosity comes because of the addition of proliferators. It seems like having interim stages of each item to proliferate would be an exponential gain in material usage (minus coal obviously).

You always know your ratio's are correct. Which is great for this stage. When going full megabase he will do massive setups of single items in ratio.

Not only are your ratios correct with the all-in-one build, but its quicker to track down supply disruptions. If you're making interim component as its own dedicated plant then you might have to trace a slowdown in rocket production, or science, back through 3 or 4 factories (that might be on entirely different worlds) to find the root shortage that's causing the issues. But if everything except smelting happens in a single blueprint then showing up to check the power and look to see which ILS slot is unexpectedly low/empty should quickly point you to the actual problem.

Also it cuts down the use of warpers and reduces the load on your cpu and gpu. When you are in the late magebase stage all those extra vessels flying around it can reduce your framerate and also give you lag even if you have a monster gaming pc.

27:35 if you wanted to be more efficient you could just flip the hub to Remote Supply once you're done on the planet to let any excess buildings there be sent along to the next planet.

The Power problem got solved for me by finding a tidle locked Planet somewhere in the Sector and doing the Accu Shipment. I got a bit lucky because it was a Dessert and with enogh Silicon to produce 5000 Accu's.

Fire Ice doesn't count as a rare resource? Thought you were doing no rare resource run. EDIT: Answer is that Fire Ice is from gas giants, which does not violate the achievement. (below)

If you blue print the first set of machines when you're making a smelting array or really anything, you can drag paste just like a single machine drag but you can do all the rows at once. You can even tab space. Thought I don't know if closer to the poles it breaks or if it can alinge it for you

I was reading up on power, and polar hubs for solar works well, since a lot of panels can be crammed in a small area, and a large portion is in daylight.

There's still a ways away. For white science, you need antimatter, and for that, you need the rockets, and for rockets, you need mats and power. So the achievements run will take a while yet (such as burning 16 kinds of fuel which could be done after antimatter is in).

How do you keep a blueprint saved whilst you exit to remove the rest?

To take one you press Ctrl+C, then click "use now" and you get it in your hand. (so far you know it, I guess ^^) And then you can get it back anytime by pressing Ctrl+V after you deleted what you wanted.

Hi Man, Have you ever tried The Planet Crafter Demo? I am stuck in this game demo for about 3 days straight. You start as a convict on a small lifeless planet and try to terraform it in order to be freed. It gave me same impression like factorio demo once. p.s.: If you'll try to play it select dev branch via steam game options. It has more content, and bugs).
