Yeah, I'm a bit surprised ficsonium isn't part of any of the final project parts or other late game recipes. There's so much stuff in the nuclear chains now and it can be completely skipped.

​@@Blad0tomato There are some alts that can shorten the nuclear chain, but that's not what I meant. I meant you don't need any of the nuclear chain for any of the project assembly parts. It's weird that you can complete the game without ever touching any of it, feels like an oversight imo.

@@DavidWMiller oh shit you’re right. I’ve been finished for a few days, and easily 50% of my play through was managing nuclear waste products. I never noticed it wasn’t actually needed.

For Slugs, Remains, Leaves, Wood, Mycelia, Artifacts, Fruits and Trash I always build my "Recycler". Basically A box at my hub that I can throw anything in and it goes through a whole line of smart splitters constructors, etc. until everything is correctly processed, stored or put into a sink. I love this thing. :)

Those portals consumed so many singularity cells, 10 per minutes each IIRC. My solution to this was to make a switch in front of all the main portal and just turn one on when I need to go somewhere and back and then turn it back off. Power is not the issue, singularity cells are but you save on power too

23:40 interesting, when I was testing them out when I unlocked them you just teleported near instantly but you couldn't move, you just saw the destination and were stuck until you loaded in nice that they fixed it and replaced it with an animation

Since you've build the main bus, what do you think of cityblock-like train grid approach? I'm thinking of having underlying floor to be repeating grid of stations between two-way mainlines with the corresponding production on top of the train stations. I'm currently trying to implement it and battling with the absolute pain of not being able to blueprint even a simple T-junction in 1.0 and having no train limits in Satisfactory train system, but aside from that, hopefully, it will work in the end.

Just unlocked and used a portal. It was fun indeed and fast if you're teleporting at the other side of the map. But why ohh why portals need singularity cells just to "maintain connection"???? Use 2 for the teleportation, i understand that. Why use 2 per minute just to stay connected?? Hope they change this!!!

What is the total dimension of the bus area? It looks like it is about 27 "stations" off the bus with each being 8 foundations wide so it looks to be over 200 foundations in length..

Actually, you just need one main portal, the rest should be satellite portals.

And the portals consumes a steady 250mw when a stable connection between them has been established. When the portals are warming up, they both ramp up their consumption over 30 seconds to 1gw each of consumption before snapping back down to the stable consumption of 250mw. When you go through, the consumption supposedly spikes once per transport, the degree varies depending on the distance between the two portals.
