Nowadays, I don't think the 1983 Rede Manchete ident stole the animation from the First Choice ident from the same year. It would basically be an template.

Adolpho Bloch contratou uma empresa para criar a vinheta da rede Manchete e por coincidência é a mesma que criou da First Choice. Então é justo ela ter usado essa vinheta em 1983, pois pagaram por ela.😉

Mas em 2003, disseram que Rede TV nunca foi sucessora da TV Manchete.

Foi para não marcarem com a dívida da Manchete. Os funcionários tentaram na Justiça Do Trabalho forçar os novos proprietários a arcar com os salários atrasados. Daí protestaram falando que a empresa foi dividida em dois, onde a marca Manchete foi arrendada por outro grupo.
