I just wanted to give a shout to let viewers know Marsh Man is the same guy on land as on the water. My wife and I were at Texas Roadhouse having dinner and I was watching a Marsh MAN video at the table I look up and he and his wife sat at the table behind us. I told my wife that’s him and I kept moving in my seat to see if it was him. I heard the voice told my wife that’s him. Finally I disturbed his meal with his friends and asked if it was him he said yes and shook my hand. So I like what you see is what you get with him. Not to mention he’s a great outdoorsman. Iam a retired vet and Iam living my retirement thru him. Keep fishing!! Keith

Mr. Masson, I subscribed to your channel after watching you on Outside the Levees. Mr. Serigné said that you do a good job of explaining the finer points of how to actually catch what you are targeting. He was correct. I am very new to this style of fishing. ( I had to look up what a bayou is ) 😂 I intend to move to the Gulf in a few years and I really appreciate your content. It’s giving me an unfair advantage to my upcoming learning curve. Thank you sir, Sam

Thanks for the kind words, Sam, and I wish you the best of luck in your quest to figure out this marsh fishing. That's the fun part.

My boat floats fine in 12” of water. This is the reason I bought it for days like this. Great video T.

Vote from me for catch and cooks! Teach us something. Teach us how to get our wives to eat seafood.

Hey Tod your video short about Pee Shy was a funny change of pace. Enjoyed it really, but we use the term Stage Freight especially when the new guy on the boat is at the plate 😂!!! Keep ‘em coming Buddy

Just unreal very similar to our conditions here in Homosassa and Crystal River think I may have to scope out those baits.

Beautiful reds! Sad to say it but, I believe that sight fishing is chasing them out of the marshes. I've run into the same issue in North Florida, where it has become the rave. We need to have a short moratorium on sight fishing. If you hunt the same piece of ground every day, the game stays away.

You have a redfish jubilee all to yourself 😮

Lots of those 16- to 19-inchers around this winter. So good to see after two or three awful years.

Todd, assuming your sonar sensitivity is in manual, what is your setting? Those were good images with very little noise.

Hey Capt! Is your next boat going to be at Bay Boat or will you stick with a bass boat?
@MarshManMasson Жыл бұрын
100% stick with a bass boat. The layout is just so much more user friendly. Everything is stored away, and there's endless deck space.

@@MarshManMasson I'm sure you have to keep it washed and rinsed off from the saltwater.. Do you have issues with corrosion?

That's a great day! It's fun when they stack up like that. Like I said, you may have to do a little searching, but once you find them, you won't leave without your biceps feeling like it got punched by Tyson.

Todd, when you’re tagging fish like that, how are you recording your tags? I’ve been tagging, but it takes so long to measure, and record each fish. I have been recording mine by taking a photo of the tag number, then length of fish. Photo records time and location, then at the end of the day, I report them all at once. Sometimes if the bite is hot I’ll throw them in the livewell for a few minutes and then do a few at a time. Interested in hearing your process
@MarshManMasson Жыл бұрын
Because my cameras are always rolling, I just say the length of the fish and the tag number, and then write it down when I'm scrubbing the footage. An alternative is to use the voice memo app on your phone.
@dixie3087 Жыл бұрын
@@MarshManMasson thanks Todd. I’ll have to try the voice memo thing and see if it works
