@@lapisx8565 yes, xingqiu actually mentions albedo in his dialogues at friendship level 6, he talks about how he's planned all the drawing albedo could do for him in his next books And Albedo mentioned in his voicelines that there was someone who tried to persuade him against working with xingqiu, but he stayed with xingqiu, saying "do I look like the type to be persuaded by a few extra mora" :) hope this helps a lil

Eventhough the children dont lie but they dont know much either and based on a commission in Liyue(the one where you ask the kid how many boat left or arrive at the harbor), i think Ningguang just ask some simple question like "have you ever seen this person before?" or "have you seen anything interested happen at this time of day?" then give them some treat after listening to all of them(for a kid having an adult listen to their story is something that can make them happy, not to mention she give them some treat after it)

​@@jakeail1995 That does not really change that she is getting kids to tell her valuable information, even if the kids don't realize, or it does not seem valuable on surface level. There is a reason she uses kids rather than adults, more naive, as she states in her own voice lines. For example, lets say "Sally" is a kid and her dad is getting ready to carry out a large project, Ning has a hunch and wants to confirm it, even if she were to ask Sally "how has daddy been doing recently", then Sally tells Ning about it, like saying "Oh daddy has been quite busy recently", that would be compromising her dads secrets. As for bribery, I interpreted this quote from her story to be just that. "When Ningguang gathers them around, her promise of delicious treats proves to be an irresistible incentive, and so they tell her everything they know." I guess I'm not saying she is evil or anything, other characters also have slightly shady aspects as well. It's also not like she is saint-like either, and I don't think this part of her character should be encouraged.

This made me appreciate Xinyan a lot more, I really liked both Ningguang's and Beidou's backstories, Qiqi's and Xiao's broke my heart (again), I admired Xiangling because she's friends with literally everyone (seriously, she appears in every story wtf), I loved Ganyu's and Hu Tao's, Xinqiu's and Zhongli's were great, Keqing's and Chongyun's were hilarious. As someone who mains Beidou, her story gave me goosebumps. And to know that she's not only badass but also good friends with Ningguang and Xiangling warms my heart. The way she demanded her crew to respect Xiangling gives me big mighty righteous warrior goddess vibes. AND we know canonically that the Electro Archon doesn't just give away visions like that, so the Archon was probably watching her battle against the Leviathan like... yeah. This girl right here. Having been released at the same time when Zhongli banner got released and the fact we didn't see her much yet compared to the likes of Chongyun (And she didn't even appear in the Archon Quest)... Qiqi and Chongyun have to be my favorite so far. Chongyun doesn't have that "tragic backstory" but it shows his struggles and determination in his workforce and life in general. Qiqi's is really sad, but I like the involvement of the history of liyue for a character that wasn't born and adeptus or archon, yet still an immortal character. I also like to imagine how a feral Qiqi would act

I wonder what mihoyo is going to do with all the lores that the characters have. I hope they'll all be given their time to shine during things like hangouts or story quests so that we'll be able to appreciate them more even if we don't own the characters and can't hear their voicelines
