Redgill fishing lures

I have actually seen a video of Salmon taking unweighted redgills behind a flasher lure before so it definitely works. I think the weighted version wouldn't make the circular motion behind the flashing lure.

How do you fish the unweighted original ones? I eight of the vintage ones with no hooks for only $12.00 USD. I have rigged up three of them on a 4ft long leaders that are of 50lb mono. I am going to try trolling them behind a small salmon flasher. These are going to used for fresh water fishing on the Great Lakes here in Michigan, so I will see what I get. I always like to try out different baits and lures than what everyone else uses. Thanks for making the video and tight lines.

I bought 2 pack of red gill 115mm eels. It was impossible to thread the hook through the eel. Total waste of my money and time. I can not recommend; I wasted my money. It would be better if this company threaded the eels for you. Very dissapointed.
