Even if it had been mad cow, the beef from mad cows is fine as long as you don’t eat the brain or brainstem. Also afaik It hasn’t crossed the species barrier & even if it had it’s ridiculously rare (pardon the pun) to find kjd in humans Last I heard only something like 50 documented cases ever.

The mad cow disease is a mutated form of prion which is a living protein that eats away your brain. It kills in just a week no cure lives for a unknown amount of time. We only know that it doesn't just come from the brain even though that's the most likely spot to get it from. It has been found in the bones of cannibals dating back thousands of years. All it takes is ingesting and part of a animal or human that gas the disease. You don't even need to ingest it all it really takes is for it to be introduced in to your blood stream

For all whiners about homonyms with which these comments are teeming: I thought long and hard about it, as I'm wont to do when the urge for nothing else to do looms large, and, well, there is a way: ever heard of PAL, pal? Like, this one example: www.palnyc.org/sports-and-recreation. Now, Canada may have something similar (I live in Wisconsin, so I don't know (I find that sooo hard to say!), and if they do, it's not hard to imagine the stadiums teaming with the local constabulary (gendarmerie, for those from Quebec) to sponsor all kinds of athletics. Any reason at all that the stadiums would be 'teeming' with cops? I can't think of one. Port Asbestos doesn't seem to rank at any busier level than 'sleepy'.
