I like these. I have a few types too. I have one I bought years ago listed as squat dark. Looks like a frog with an open mouth. I recently had to cut it back to the basal.

I really like the raff. I have a Suki that is a raff hybrid and it started throwing these HUGE winged pitchers over this past year and I'm digging the hell out of it! I love how the peristome is tall and toothy and I love that little dip at the tip of the lid. My Suki is definitely one of my favs

Hi Dominic! as always, an excellent video! Great in recording terms as in theory concepts! Indeed, I got a Wistuba’s Baku form, which it seems to have a unusual lid. Have you ever seen it?
@acousticanimal55143 жыл бұрын
I have the Baku Form as well. Quite squat pitchers with a nice winged tendril!

How many inches tall have the Nepenthes rafflesiana- Brunei gotten? There are no bananas in the video, so it was hard to tell.

I've always wanted to grow N. rafflesiana but I never had a good lowland setup for one.
@jarnevinke40142 жыл бұрын
can you grow them on the windowsill
@DeaDiabola3 жыл бұрын
Wowww, coloration is the same as one of my Oma's favorite orchids! Question, with one of my nerpenthes of a similar type, the leaves are turning a sort of muddy color, maybe a purpleish brown? I live in CA where it's warm af, I use a humidifier, spray daily, only ro or distilled water, etc. I also use artificial grow lights. They don't seem otherwise bothered, so maybe an acclimation thing?

Do you think I could grow one of these in a highland climate?

Is there any difference between giant Raffles Nepenthes and ordinary Raffles Nepenthes in terms of size? I have always wanted to raise a giant Raffles Nepenthes.
