So, I saw this and downloaded the game to check it out. Turns out you can use the Space Cop Gun to shoot the lock off of a door and go outside. The only interactable object you can find outside (which is portrayed as a snowy, creepy wasteland, much like Milwaukee IRL) is Plinkett's Night Court tape. You can take that tape to the Plinkett House set and interact with the TV to get a Thank You message from the Dev. Suddenly turned this whole thing from kind of weird to pretty wholesome!

It's a credit to this game that when they got the gun, Mike noticed that the game's model is *more accurate* than the actual gun he has in his hands.

I mean, even the description of the gun in the game noted that this version had features that were missing from the "real" one. That is some dedication to One's obsession!

With middleware like Unreal or Unity making that kind of game got a lot easier but yeah a lot of time went into making the content like modelling, getting in all the VHS covers and so on... The attention to details is marvellous and it's all done in good taste.

As a pathetic nobody piece of shit game designer myself, I can say with total confidence that the creator of this game could not have possibly expected a better reception. To have your fan game almost immediately validated by the very people you were inspired by is insane. That close up of Rich's face as he realized what he was about to play probably made the game designer cry tears of joy.

For those that haven't played the most recent version, the Dev added the nukie wood chipper and a stack of nukie tapes. You can drop them into it and watch their tape guts go flying into the wall just like in RLM's Nukie video. They Dev also added the framed graded nukie tape in its display box.
