I have focus peaking on my camera and I can say that your comment is totally valid.

Keep up the good work Jeremy. Your past content and continuing contribution to this platform are unique and interesting. As a person without a horse in your really weird race, I am weighing in to note that creative human beings with two ears stand to lead a fuller existence by considering your YT offerings.

We're doing silly little marble track videos for fun, and our usual process is to cut the visuals first and only then find some music that more or less fits the action. It's obviously not the best approach, and it tends to show. But when we stumbled across your track Sightlines and put it over the video, something magical happened: everything just clicked into place, the song gave the video a whole new meaning. It suddenly opened up a dramatical interpretation that had never ocurred to us before, not even as a goal we could aim for, ever. This marble track felt like it was telling a story now, we just couldn't unsee it once the idea had come up in our heads. So we ended up sketching it in the title and desc to prime the viewers with an outline of what we saw in it. The result is - by our standards as absolute amateurs in a very small niche - quite a success, one that we probably won't be able to repeat easily. But it's very rewarding to have created something people like, I'm sure you can relate. Long story short: thank you so much, it's an honour to use your track! If you're interested, pop by and give it a watch: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4HCo3qdasp_j7c

Hey Mr. Red Means Recording, you should do live sets, or live knowledge dump symposiums in the greater Seattle Area. We would all show up and ask incredible questions. Thanks for all the great infotainment!

I just checked out the KZbin audio library for the first time after watching this. I’ll look at using yours first if I ever integrate music from there into one of my videos, and I’ll definitely credit you since I support all you do.

Enjoyment is a fair use case but you may have to go to court and prove that you did in fact enjoy the music if the copyright holder thinks you weren't stoked enough. I'd suggest slightly bobbing your head to the beat and occasionally saying "uh" and "nice" every now and then just to strengthen your legal standing. It's not legally necessary for an enjoyment fair use defense but it can only strengthen your case.

There's really no reason you had to give up control to KZbin to let people use tracks royalty free.
