The lift and drop is really interesting. I sort of wish that these videos included something that we were doing together. Like, a follow along build a beat or something. I'm not sure all the information is sticking for me. Like the lift and drop, even though you explain it so plainly.

Resynthesizing your loops or samples is how I have made a lot of music in Ableton! Slow it down/make it time stretch, automate time shifts, change the bpm again, repeat. I like weird sounds though.

I programmed a set of drum loops in the finger sequencer. can i save these patterns some where? or do you just write them as you need them, only in those 14 spots? i notice they play with the other drum sets as well...

Is there any way to go back , to a sample in the drum engine after you record it directly to the op 1 from audio in or radio for example? Every time I try to save the snapshot to one of the eight I lose the sample I recorded.
