It just feels like innovation in the smartphone industry has died. I own a Redmi N10 Pro and I don't see a phone under 40k that will give me a major upgrade in every front from this. There's always some or the other compromise. I don't remember this happening 4 years ago when I upgraded to this phone, at all.

Great video. I think while comparing a 3-4 year old phone with a current one, a useful thing to look into would be the competition which the old phone had compared to the new one. I'm sure if we look at when the Note 10 Pro was launched in 2021, it was clearly ahead of its competitors in terms of value and, therefore, became the default choice. Over 3 years, prices will surely increase but what makes the 14 Pro difficult to recommend is that it now falls behind competition such as Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, Nothing 2A, Iqoo Z9s and others. That's what has led to the downfall of the once-famous note series. They have gotten lazy and are counting on the brand name in offline markets.

My mom has this phone, i installed *PixelOS based on A14* , so now it has all Ai features like *Circle to Search* , *Unlimited cloud storage* for _photos & videos_ , *Leica camera* , *HyperOS 2 gallery app* with all *Ai features enabled* , installed *1+ Dolby Atmos* , sound is so loud and clear now , Pixel OS is soo smooth on Redmi note 10 pro, it is like a flagship now (it's really comparable to my poco f5), 10x better then miui + all payments working, just wanted to share for redmi note 10 pro users. (They can also do this)

Watching this video on the Note 10 Pro (going to upgrade to the OP13 soon). I think Xiaomi absolutely knocked it out of the park with the Note 3, Note 5 Pro (I had one) and then with the Note 10 Pro. I used to be so comfortable with recommending the note family that between my parents and myself, we have had all the Notes except 6 and 7. I just wish the Note series went back to its roots, offering ground breaking stuff at a killer price. The Note 5 Pro and the Note 10 Pro really shook the market when they were launched, none of their recent releases give me the same feeling. Just wanted to write this as a tribute to this once amazing series of phones (all of my phones till now have been Notes). The N10P is still going strong apart from battery degradation (which can be replaced for ₹1200) so I might keep it around as a backup and give custom ROMs a shot.

After all these years, the battery has taken a toll and the volume button started to become loose. But loving the 3.5mm headphone jack and the Hi Res audio output . I guess this was the last of the OG value for money phones...

Redmi Note 10 Pro was an amazing phone imo. Except, in my case, the front camera and the other 2 rear cameras were dead leaving me with just the Main and Ultra-wide cameras functioning after 2.5 years of use. The phone also got pregnant🪫 somehow which also cracked the back glass like woah- So I switched to an iPhone 15 a month after it got released. And oh boy that was some good upgrade (except my pocket hurt a little) But I'm super satisfied overall :) Edit: I ain't got rid of her just cuz I got her pregnant, I still use her as my secondary 🤓 (that sounds so bad lmao but u get the point). I love this phone despite the things that aren't the same as they were back when it was brand new. Never selling it off ❤️ twas my first ever phone afterall.

It just needs a battery replacement, model number is BN53. You also need tools for back glass removal which you can search online. You also need adhesive glue such as B-7000 or adhesive double sided mobile tape. Then lastly you need a back glass replacement with color of your choice.

What about the Gcam Capabilities and Custom Romming Side on both the Smartphones... Since Note 14 Pro has a Mediatek Chipset it's gonna be exponentially difficult to get a Proper Working Gcam that can outshine the Stock Cam...and for Custom Roms... Xiaomi has made it pretty hard to unlock the bootloader now since the HyperOS Update. Missing out on these 2 things seems like a let down to me sadly :( Otherwise an amzing comparison video (Watching on my Redmi Note 10 Pro)

Lol, M still rocking my note 10 pro max. Installed PixelOS and it still runs like hot rod runs through Amul butter.❤ 1. Installed LMX camera (Gcam port) - absolutely banger. 2. Battery is still goes upto 6 hours - heavy use. 3. Screen is absolutely perfect for the price 😂 4. Few tweaks and Dolby still gives punchy sound. 5. Been using this phone without back cover, hoping I'd break screen and get rid of it - dropped thrice - got snateched once in train - it is still going hard with few scratches 😂 6. Verdict - Do not change phones unless you really need it. Being tech savvy Imma juice this phone atleast 3 years more.

I am using redmi note 12 pro Plus i bought that phone on launch. It was way too overpriced, although with all the exchange and sale discount i was able to buy that in 25k that's the only reason i got it. After 2 years ufs 2.2 and lpddr4x ram has shown its aging. Phone isn't snappy even at 0.25x animation speed. Process take time to open the app, not many apps stays open in background it still requires loading. Giving ufs 2.2 over 30k phone is a crime. And its a high time redmi should be criticized heavily for that. And also the fact that they have been boasting about camera quality. Even that is average for the price segment. Its direct competitor realme phones which launch at same price offers far better camera quality and optimization. Even Motorola, vivo, iqoo phone have better quality than that of redmi. For the price you pay you are not getting best of anything under the price segment.

Just make sure u look out for dead front camera with miui updates. My front camera died along with damage to the rear camera(laggy). Research the custom roms properly. Beast phone. One more thing. The amoled of this phone is very brittle so tho the main glass may seem undamaged, the amoled panel inside is easy to break so be careful (panel breaks before the glass).

I owned a Redmi Note 10 Pro Max for 3 years. As much as I admired the hardware while buying, the software really sucked. It started lagging a lot especially while taking photos. Apps used to crash frequently for no reason. I have owned multiple Xiaomi devices (Redmi Note 4, Mi A1, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Mi Pad 6). But I have finally decided not to buy another Mi device unless and until they sort their software support. I now own a much expensive S23 but I am much more confident on Samsung and their software support and believe that the phone will last me for at least 5 years.

The 10 pro had the motherboard issue in which the front camera or both cameras stopped working after a year and the motherboard would have to be replaced for which the service center charged 11k if out of warranty. This happened with me and lots of people mentioned it on Twitter as well, never bought a xiaomi phone after that.

main camera 64 to 50 ultra-wide same macro awesome 5 mp to waste 2mp depth 2mp to no sensor at all except software there is no upgrade in terms of camera sensors and recording capabilities in fact, my Redmi note 10 pro was amazing with camera but after updates it was downgraded and the motherboard issue as well thankfully Redmi helped me by repairing the phone free of cost but after 6 months it had switching off problem and I had to repair it from open market (showroom cost was high) but he damaged the fingerprint sensor but overall, the phone is still awesome, and I still want to buy Redmi or Xiaomi phone because of software. I wish there is some amazing launch like poco phones, but I am just afraid of motherboard or any other problems.

Me in here still using the Redmi Note 10 pro 😂 It's still fluid , granted I don't play games or do any heavy tasks.. it's mostly just surfing social media and content consumption. The battery drains quite quickly but it also charges just as fast so it hasn't really been a hassle unless I'm outside. Camera still holds it's own in daylight.
