I saw that a lot of times the 10 had sharper details and better contrast vs the 11. Also, many times the colors , values were somewhat muted in 11 vs 10. Im in a dilemma now..

With it, your xiaomi will be able to see like a hawk in the dark. I did it on my poco x3 nfc, before in the dark everything was very bad, everything is much better now.

Does the 10 pro have sharper images due to software updates? If so should the 11 pro+ expect better images down the road with updates? Or is this just the snapdragon 730 being that good out of the box and superior to mediatek 920?

If the camera performance is all that you want , i don't think redmi note 11 pro + 5g worth the extra money to buy , note 10 pro is still better here i see.

Happy with my Redmi Note 10 Pro especially the rear cameras but not so much the front ones. Trying to "downgrade" my phone to an older OnePlus 7T which has a better SoC. Would that translate to better photos & videos you think?

I'm sure this comes down to personal preference, i found the the 11pro took some brighter shots and the 10pro has more vibrant colours, better stabilization and better sounding speakers, the 10 pro is still the better camera. Good comparison 👍👍👍

thanks so much for ghis video, the cameras of very little diffrence, but in general redmi note 11 pro plus much better for the following reasons:better processor, 500 nit screen resolution, 19 band reception, redmi note 10 pro has 720 snapdragon , 450 nit screen resolution, 13 band reception, these are the big differences between them.

It would appear Xiaomi has issues with odd numbers, the Redmi note 9 Pto/Max was never a worthy upgrade either to the note 8 pro. The efforts made for the note 10 pro probably resulted in cutbacks for note 11 pro plus. Let's hope that the note 12 pro makes up for how underwhelming the note 11 pro plus has been.

Btw the stock camera produces terrible images in non ideal light conditions. Using GCam will turn this budget phone into a super nice device !

@@cekuhnen there's one exception, Xiaomi smartphones with MediaTek Helio G90T, G95, G96 and G85 have working GCam that takes better photos, better HDR and colour reproduction than stock. I tested it on Redmi Note 8 Pro.

@@cekuhnen because Apple releases smartphone with similar hardware every year, and developers of apps for iOS know all documentation, that why software works better there. About GCam, it doesn't work well on MediaTek and Exynos because Google never used them in their Pixel line, which Google Camera is created for, they used Qualcomm all the time til Pixel 6, that's why GCam works that well on Qualcomm, of course it's better to have camera2api level 3 acces so GCam will work the best, for example Samsung restrict camera2api on their smartphones, ao GCam doesn't work well even on Samsung smartphones with Qualcomm Snapdragon.

thx Grant - great insights, overall like my new REdmi Note 11, but the advertising push is so aggressive it has taken ages to turn OFF all the permissions in all the apps. one App i hate is the default messaging app, quite obtuse in being able to block unwanted SMS...any alaternatives you can suggest that dont invite extra spam?

The comments section don't know anything. The 11 Pro+ clearly has better details, better image stabilization, better night mode, better audio in this video while the 10 Pro only wins in cropped mode, night photos without using night mode, better saturation, (saturation isn't everything folks)

@@emiliagjuci5915 the 11 Series has different phones and most of them are weaker than the 10 Series except for the one on the video which is the Note 11 Pro+ 5G(not to be confused with the Note 11 Pro 5G & Note 11 Pro which are worse in camera). This one is the one with Dimensity 920 Chipset not the Snapdragon 695 or Helio G96 phone.

Qualcomm image signal processor is better and results in better video quality, or it's just the developers that can't fully utilize MediaTek image signal processor capabilities, anyway i would go for Qualcomm. But still, MediaTek has improved a lot with Dimensity lineup.

Note 10 pro have very poor internet connection & reception and doesn't support 5g in the US. Note 11 pro plus is much better in terms of LTE & 5G, has better screen and speakers.
