I just bought this. Thanks for the video. Very helpful as the user manual is a complete joke. No info on how to use all the features. But it is one fantastic deal. I paid 50 euros (about $50 these days). On sale for Black Friday (lol) and that includes a 22% VAT so retail was about $40! Syncs up nicely with my new Redmi phone with the MI Fitness app on it. No complaints. OK one, the watch face constantly goes off and I would like it to stay on longer than the max allowed which is 20 seconds.

Actually, there is a ''double tap to wake'' feature. It's in the Display setting on the watch itself.

Hey Lotus, I personally think it doesn't justify the upgrade as you mentioned that SPO2 is a nice to have feature. Other than that I think the MI Watch Lite is plenty capable and similar to this new watch as well. 😁

I just recently bought this same item, unfortunately after being in salt water for a while the screen turn black already. After reading the whole feature online it said you cant used it for often because it will affect the glueing maybe some sort. But in my case i just used it in salt water for a while, just like a week after i got it. 😢😢 So i was disappointed. Unlike with mi band.

Hm i think putting the display off center with the big black frame on the bottom makes the watch look like a cheap Apple Watch clone. They really shouldn't have done this. Other than that for the price the product is fine

This has a big GPS problem tho. My boyfriend had one of these and basically when he goes for a run with everything correctly set up (running profile activated, GPS working and paired with the smartphone) it doesn't show his running course/track when he's finished. Meaning when the map opens up, it does not show the route he took... and even the oldest Xiaomi bands achieve that... it's a bummer. We're not sure if it's a bug or if it was designed this way, but I havent seen any video that show the running/walking route correctly depicted on the app.

This is indeed a bummer. I was planning to buy it for outdoor running, so I won’t have to carry my phone. But I expected the GPS to work just like in my phone’s running app, i.e. show the track location on the map. Sigh. 🙁 Btw, you mentioned Xiaomi bands - I thought they didn’t have GPS?

bought the Redmi Watch 2 Lite to practice windsurfing. However in training modes "sailing", "kite surf", "paddle board", "car race" and "kayaking" the GPS does not come into operation. The only outdoor sports that GPS works with are hiking, outdoor swimming, outdoor running, outdoor cycling, trekking, and trail running. It would also be better if the watch could display the instantaneous speed for these wind & water sports. It is a valuable information at the moment of training. And a device that has a standalone internal GPS should at least show the geographic coordinates on some screen. It may be useful in an emergency situation, when your windsurf equipment is broken and all you have is a waterproof vhf radio and the watch. When data from Xiaomi wear is transfed to Strava, "outdoor swimming" loses GPS data and is turned into "indoor swimming". A Bug to be fixed. Another outdoor Training modes that is NOT possible to activate GPS are: "water skiing", "water polo", "other watersports", "rowing", "powerboating" , "rafting", "ice skating", "horse sports", "paragliding", "parkour", "rock climbing" and "ATV". I have posted this feedback in Xiaomi forum, and they expect that the issue will be resolved in upcoming firmware updates. My firmware version is 1.1.98
