We lived in Redmond from 1976-1983. Population approximately 7,000. We had crime, drugs and murder. My mother was working as head nurse in the iCU in Bend around 1979. She took care of the two women who were camping overnight at cline falls. During the evening, A man drove down there And took an ax to their tent. He severely injured both ladies and one was blinded. She also told me about the body parts they found in bend park, in the river. Central Oregon is just like any other democrat led area. Until we decide we’ve had enough of Democratic led cities, It will be over run with more crime, more drugs. Oregon just passed the anything goes bill. You like drugs?
