Redoing my OLD ART! Three years in the hobby, can I do better? | doll repaint

Hi everyone!
In this video I'm REDOING my old art. Yes, we are gonna wipe her clean and start over! I first repainted this doll in June of 2018 so almost three years ago. I really love her hair and outfit so it's finally nice to have a faceup that I'm really proud of too!

Honestly. I loved the old repaint, but the new one is amazing and beautiful too, and I love it even more. You can definitively see a great improvement in your tecnique. Oh! And I would love to see another doll in this style. It would be so cool!

The old repaint was lovely and I love this updated version. One thing I would have loved to see you keep in the new design are those gradient brows, those were so cute. I really like how soft the updated repaint looks and how much more depth it has. She’s a really gorgeous doll.

I use lightworks (the free version) its a little difficult to figure out how to use if you have never used any editing softwares. But it does get the job done 👍

what I’m hearing is clear nail polish is NOT a good gloss varnish... maybe if you put a normal matte varnish on top of it then it’d work.

lovely repaint! also no worries about the multiple beauty marks, they were popular during the rococo period (and other eras) and many people painted multiple marks to seem even more posh and fashionable 😁. but i think you might have already known about that 😅
