I love the aesthetic of this brand so much. Lovely bottles and the artwork and to me Zoologist represents the artistic side of perfumery and embodies what "niche" is really suppose to be. I also like Bee and TRex. I want to try out Camel, it sounds good to me :)

I have three Squid Civet and Bee is coming , I adore Squid and Civet! I too am shocked Civet is so low on the list but scent appreciation is so subjective. Finished the video. I wore Squid today to Church. So wearable, so good! I love T Rex, wore it yesterday. My travel size TRex will last a life time, but I love it. Squid will be full bottle replacement worthy. Zoologist is one of my favorite houses, period. I'd rate Elephant higher personally but can't disagree you on your list. Keep it up. May I suggest a Orto Parisi House review?

That's a nice coincidence! I recently purchased Squid after a few months of testing almost all Zoologist fragrances. Squid is special yet wearable enough for everyday use and quite an addictive scent I'd say ;) Something I didn't enjoy at first but now really like is Macaque - it would definitely be in my top 5 of Zoologist.

I have had a minor experience with Zoologist, but for the little that I have experienced, I have been extremely impressed. A friend recently sent me a sample of Camel and I bought a sample of T-Rex when it was first released and I am becoming more and more interested in the house. I think the thing that really made me hesitant on looking at Wong's creations was the price of everything, honestly. But as I have been in this community and industry for the past three years and have sampled many higher-end frags, and when I understand the history of perfumery and how difficult it is to gather, synthesize, and mix chemicals and fragrance notes, I understand more and more why costs are associated...especially with the artistic creations that Zoologist makes. I want to try more and I want to eventually purchase 1-2 of my favorites because these appear to be stellar creations in the industry. Awesome video as always, Steven! I'm really interested in this house, and it's great to see your top ten. For myself, I *love* Camel! Civet and Elephant smelled great, too, although I only tried them on a card, not on my skin. I've heard many people say that T-Rex is difficult to wear, but hearing your take on it, I'm definitely interested now! And I love aquatic and sweet scents, so I'm sure I'd love your top 2. Bee is beautiful but I don't like the smell of honey, Panda also beautiful I love it, but T-Rex... makes me smile, I wear it to a business meeting a week ago, and as you said if you control the sprays no problem at all, I have to try the others from this house, but I need to go slow too many fragrances!!! When Squid was a new release I tried all of them at the Scentbar and Squid was my favorite. I didn’t try on skin though. Ordering a sample along with Bee and Koala since those also sound great.

Bat was my first experience with Zoologist . I still have a sample of the original Beaver. Still my favorite is Camel . I love the associations I get . Haven't sampled Bee yet. I will though. want to try Musk Deer (I love forests), Nightingale and ofc Panda because I love apples, cutruses and all vegetation. Like the majestic mosaic of moist green notes in Fanthom V. I feel instinctively that I am looking for such fragrances. With Zoologist I own "🐨 Koala" and it is a very elegant fragrance that smells like incense, resin and EUKALIPTUSS 🌱 💛, but has one and only range that is repulsive. I do not know what the combination sounds negative, but it is similar to the old cough syrups such as "Gujazyl" or the herbal liqueur "Jegermeister". I chose this fragrance because I love koala.

I have tried 4 of these house, and I love bee and camel, but bee was a bit too strong for me, so I guess camel is my favorite so far. Didn't really like dragonfly, and then there was another with a name that was difficult to remember out of my head, and that one I kind of liked. It was a good one for that day. Found the name of it in the comments, macaque was it.

Zoologist is probably my favorite niche house. I own T-Rex, Bee, Bat and Rhinoceros. I perceive them as almost unwearable tho: I reserve them for days I am not working with the public. As for Bee, no matter how people say it is innovative and unique, I strongly disagree : it's almost a clone of the legendary "O" from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. In fact, the BPAL honey and beeswax notes are quite similar to "Bee". And I wear bpal since 2008 and know their catalogue by heart, I have over 350 bottles of them. So yeah: if you like Bee and don't want to spend a fortune, check bpal

Aside from Hummingbird, Bee and Chameleon I worry that the other samples I have would succeed in making heads turn for all the wrong reasons-- a bit like Parfums Prissana's 'Haxan' which on me smells like a small, furry, stressed, incontinent mountain goat lying on top of a rotting pile of mulch and decaying mushrooms in the dankest, mouldiest, filthiest corner of an enclosure in a poorly financed Moldovian zoo. Many Zoologist fragrances smell similarly on me, that animal faeces, horse stable and compost smell-- but mixed with an entirely other sort of gross; corpse in a dusty attic full of slimey, rancid old waterlogged books etc. I'm fascinated to imagine what kind of people these fragrances smell fantastic on. They smell as if they've 'turned' on my skin and so I wouldn't choose them over the other delicious masterpieces in my collection. As a woman, I love unisex and challenging fragrances but I just can't wear most of Zoologist's offerings on my person outside of the house. I'm truly disappointed as the brand concept is fantastic and the marketing is just gorgeous. Victor seems like a really interesting, inspired, daring and hard-working person too. I wish him all the best. I'm in a minority perhaps, which is the consolation; a great majority champion the brand. I can only hope it's not all virtue-signalling and they put their money where their mouths are when it comes to this house/project.

The majority of them (if not all) are considered unisex, but some have more of a "feminine" approach (like Hummingbird) and some other more "masculine" (like T. Rex).

The only one with a weaker lasting power on my skin is Elephant. Many of them last 10+ hours (T-rex or Moth for example).

Literally non of the perfumes smell good , smell terrible i almost vomited specially the elephant and T-REX they are very very bad . It is a good gift for someone you hate.
