If you install upside down will your high beam be the low beam etc? Just got this same kit for my 02 xterra (also 9007) installed. But now my high beam is low beam etc. I think I just need to clock it 180* to fix this issue.
@redonKiLaus3 жыл бұрын
I think that could very well be the case, I've not tried them upside down but I don't believe these are shielded so that is entirely possible. Thanks for watching!

Hey, I'm trying to install there but the tab which rotates isn't large enough for this.how did you manage?
@lanightndayify3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for great video. I bought 2010 xterra recently and came with after market LED bulbs. However, it looks like Lo beam only. When I switched to high beam, still Lo beam cut line. Do you have any idea to fix it? Thank you.

In this video, you stated the factory locking collar needs to be modified. But in your previous video, you stated the collar that comes on the LEDs itself needs to be modified. So which is it?
@redonKiLaus5 жыл бұрын
I believe I ended up doing both. I know for sure that when the first set failed and I needed to put the halogen bulbs back in temporarily, the locking collar that had been used on the LEDs was too loose (i.e. filed down). I reused that collar on the new LEDs since the unmodified, new OEM parts did not fit (too tight). Not a big issue for me and the parts are easily available, but something to keep in mind. Thanks for watching!

What’s the cut off zone like? Bad or alright?
@redonKiLaus6 жыл бұрын
It's pretty good - obviously not projector level, but comparable to how it was with the original halogen bulbs. Thanks for watching!

I was gifted some sngl leds. I found that the retainer ring would not clear the set screws, they were too long. My xterra is an '06 and plastic can be a little brittle. I took the set screws out and ground them down a little using a bench grinder. The set screw now sits flush at the top before it even contacts the bulb housing now the ring slides on and off like it did with halogens.

Why we need to buy locking ring if we can use the one comes on the truck
@redonKiLaus6 жыл бұрын
I had to modify the originals. If you ever need to switch back to halogen lamps or to another set of LEDs that fit within the original halogen profile, then you'll need new rings. Thanks for watching!
@DimplesDon96 жыл бұрын
@@redonKiLaus on your video, you didn't show how you modified the locking ring you just unscrew the ring from led then insert the locking ring
